    Hes been virtually unhittable. Too bad his walk rate is 7.52 per 9!! Hes about to shelled here soon as that .061 BABIP tells the real story. The real win was getting that salary off the books and playing time for Vargas though.

    Ugh why cant we just have healthy pitchers? I can see Kohl resting and then learning next season he needs surgery or something and missing a significant amount of time. Thats the Twins luck at play.

    Not lately. I just check the stats and do something else. I'm a big fan of prospects and new guys on the team and the team just lacks that appeal. Sure Vargas and Santana have been exciting so far but the pitching does next to nothing. I want strikeouts, dominant outings, ect. Aces draw attention to teams. Just look at all the hype Price, Lester and the Shark got when they were traded. If the Twins had one of those, that would up the interest some.

    I'm willing to bet that Mauer doesnt hit over 12 homeruns a season for the rest of his career. I'm just hoping when the Twins get good again offensively, they dont slot Mauer into the 3 hole or the 2 hole. 5th or 6th would be a much better fit.

    I hope that the Twins pull Willingham during the game and later reveal hes been traded. That would be more exciting then a Twins victory.

    If the Twins sign Suzuki for a multi year deal it will be a mistake. You can take that to the bank.

    So the author wasnt that impressed with Gordon? None of his tools stick out to me, hes above average except for power. But hes held his own so far.

    Tigers got a very nice haul for their closer. A potential closer and a number 2/3 starter. If anything Perkins is better as hes fairly reasonable cost wise here on out so he could net something similiar or better. Listening to offers cant hurt.

    I like to see some changes in the bullpen. There are some good options in Triple AAA and I'm not big on Guerrier, Duensing or Burton. BLEH

    Good. Make him available and if there is a good offer, trade him. He likely wont be part of the next playoff team so might as well get something useful. Besides, I wouldnt mind picking up another catcher in the offseason that comes fairly cheap. Russel Martin comes to mind.
