    I would actually leave Revere in AAA and hope he can actually rebuild his trade value and dump him.

    I can't believe nobody has made the comment that the Twins didn't have anything invested in Borroughs so it's no big loss. Another one of those great Terry Ryan moves to build a contender.

    Why is Clete Thomas still on the roster? He is horrible with all the strikeouts and has done nothing since his first series with the Twins. I would rather see Revere and his baby arm than Thomas. How is Thomas still getting AB's when he is hacking? Doesn't he know that is not the Twins way to approach an AB?

    So a .275 average in the minors deserves a promotion? Let's wait until he has earned a promotion before recalling him in a rebuilding year. There is no reason to rush him.

    I feel any player who is not a superstar in the last year of a contract has little value since they changed the way draft pick compensation is done now. Any team trading for Liriano would not receive any picks if he signed with another club.

    Luke Hughes now plays for Oakland and Liriano is out of options and cannot be sent down without clearing waivers.

    I thought Clete Thomas was brought in to be the 4th outfielder not the starting RF. That is my problem with the move. I would rather see Ploufe play more than Thomas.

    Fire Ryan, Gardy and all the coaches! If you're going to clean house you may as well clean the entire house.

    Because he has a shoulder injury nobody wants him. You can fix an elbow, but not many people come back from shoulder surgeries. And if they do they are not the pitcher they were prior to the surgery.

    So in order to get a new pitching coach that means time to fire Gardy! I'm ready for that. There is no way Gardy would let them fire his BFF unless they threatened to fire him.

    Not always. Some teams need to free up a roster spot for a player who has no options left.

    The only problem with the swap is do you really want to pitch Liriano in anything more than a mop up role. You want to bring a guy into a close game or a lead when he cannot throw strikes?

    Finally!!! Somebody else actually gets it. Too bad Terry Ryan won't do it. Also, I wouldn't be shocked if Nishioka would feel so pathetic he might approach the Twins and try to work out a buy out of his contract so he can return to Japan...

    Send Gray or Burton down take Tsuyoshi Nishioka off 40 man roster. I'm sure Gray and Burton don't have options but if they don't get claimed so be it.

    If the Twins do put in a claim and are awarded Michael Bowden the player that should be removed my the 40 man roster is a very simple choice. I can't believe Seth hasn't suggested it already is to remove Tsuyoshi Nishioka from the 40 man roster. If a team wants to claim him they can have him and take over his deal.

    Does anyone know for sure (not just guessing) if there was insurance taken out on Bakers contract? If so, how much will they get back. Sad thing about is they could get 75% of the money back and wouldn't spend it anyway. Also, nobody is out there except Oswalt, who would never come here.
