    Right. I'm not for giving him a QO at this point, but am for being realistic about how hard pitching is right now. And, I thought he'd be a bit better than this.

    Looking only at qualifiers is silly. A LOT MORE than 28 pitchers pitch in the AL. If you expand that to a number where you have 100+ starters in the AL, he's right in the middle of all pitchers. Unless you think only comparing him to the 28 best players is a fair way to judge him compared to the 131 pitchers that have started an AL game.....

    This seems so obvious to me, I didn't even mention it. As for does this team need offense? Have people not seen the record with less than five runs scored? Of course they need the offense.

    If they don't sign 2 good FA starting pitchers (either their own, or others), where is the pitching coming from next year? And yes, I'd take Harper, not in context of THIS team and all its OFers, but yes.

    We went thru to with Mauer. Every first basemen makes scoops. There guys have been catching balls since they were five. Cron is nearly replacement level at this point. Garver needs to play every day, or nearly. I don't understand his usage at all.
