It's not just the twins. HS pitchers are the biggest busts of any pick in any sport. That said, it could go great.

Their minor league system is barren of pitching right now. And, this guy wasn't anywhere near the highest ranked guy. You need like twenty pitchers every season.... Most analysts day he had no chance to stay at catcher. He's likely a first baseman. I'm not big in taking that in round two. Hope to be wrong.

He's getting a 4-5 year deal, imo. But I still don't see how this pick matters to that? He's gone after (or during) this year no matter what.

Not a fan of HS pitchers. Biggest draft busts of any sport. But I love the strategy of this draft. Lots of pitching after the obvious pick..

Meh. Raising the floor from worst bullpen to third worst bullpen doesn't do much for some of us. It's another half butt measure that doesn't really matter (either way....I don't care about the prospect, and I'm guessing others agree with me, it's about the target).

Ya, he is. Go to Fangraphs, filter by as 3b, and look at his fwar in how few games he's played. I don't think people realize how good he's been since he switched. He's already 19th overall, in only 42 games there. Looks like he's about 12th overall right now, if you prorate......my bad :)
