  1. Terrible coaching. Just awful.
  2. I mean, you were pointed in that direction by another poster and just dismissed it, so I'm not sure you actually care, but here https://blogs.fangraphs.com/yes-the-playoffs-are-still-a-crapshoot/
  3. I'm not watching until McCarthy is back. No point.
  4. Really hard to root against Betts and Ohtani, but yes
  5. Ohtani is truly amazing..
  6. It's just clear the dodgers are good
  7. Easy decision. I'd likely keep him too, unless they feel he's broken.
  8. There are only thirty jobs. There will be plenty of people that want it.
  9. Very hard to do! I just ignore those. You can do some things, but they are tempot fixes at best.
  10. You used AI, which consumes electricity and water and is killing people with pollution. Just don't.
  11. I mean, Lewis is a lock at third, though I'm not hopeful. Lee at short, though I've lost hope there also. What a bad pick that's turned out to be so far. Ugh. Keaschell starts at 2nd, though I think he's a long term 1B. First? Yuck. I think it is Clemens to start, but he's had 1 amazing month and otherwise been terrible in the majors. I'd move Wallner there, or just let Mendez start the year there. (or, I'd move Keschell there asap, and put in a stop gap at 2nd until one of their many SS moves there). I really don't know what to do about first.....
  12. I agree with others that OUTman will get another chance. Hate it, but it is what it is.
  13. My thoughts exactly. I wonder how the impending lockout and the FO feeling about control will effect when we see the youth?
  14. Strong disagree. Why would you trade him for a veteran?
  15. Boston isn't close. I doubt Philly deals painter, but good have to consider it if they do. I think the Mets are the ideal partner. Likely you'll get tong, sproah, and a hitter. You aren't getting three top 100 prospects.
  16. Seems simple. But it isn't for many. Unreal game from him tonight.
  17. Ooops. Got one game wrong. The data is very clear, analysis has shown it for several years, you need to hit home runs in the post season. You can find the studies online.
  18. He literally acquired Ryan thru trade. I don't even know how you can be arguing this.
  19. Did you think Julien would go from 2.7 fwar to zero? Or did you think he could be the 2B of the future? As for the timing, I agree! But the ownership clearly pivoted on the FO, or the FO would not have done the things they did the year before. I'm not sure how to hold the FO accountable for that. They bet on Julien being nearly as good (or better?) than he was the year before. It turned out to be a bad bet, but at some point, you have to trust your prospects. Polanco wasn't even worth .5 fWAR last year. He was a FA this year, and took a 40% pay cut. "proven hitters" don't always hit.
  20. If anyone thought Julien would forget how to hit before it happened, well, no one did. No one. Had he been half the player he was the year before, he'd have been above average......In one post you argue they shouldn't have given up on Kiriloff (moving him to the OF) and in this one, you argue they shouldn't have trusted Julien....

  22. He traded FOR Ryan, right?
  23. few years? He's gone in 2.....and they aren't winning much next year w/o a bullpen or enough hitters. So, one year?
