Drew Butera's reaction when learning the Twins are interested in a reunion: http://cache4.asset-cache.net/gc/495323366-wade-davis-of-the-kansas-city-royals-gettyimages.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=X7WJLa88Cweo9HktRLaNXoJXGXv2C2tm9E%2BSFj%2BDhG1ECFJy8rRlGY9KqAUCnVR7%2BFhsZZz4WVvMZ%2Ffw%2Bv7JuA%3D%3D

I was not aware of that -- thanks. Then he should have just come out of the game between innings. My opinion is he should just keep walking!

Step back out of the box, take a breath or two, buy some time. Maybe try a light practice swing.

Injured or not, I really don't care for how he just walked off the field last night, but that sure is a nice picture of his physique http://www.newhealthadvisor.com/images/1HT00901/Oblique%20Muscles.jpg

Thanks jokin! I'm guessing a lot of the clicks are from people who already commented on a thread. After commenting on another person's blog, I have clicked there dozens of times afterward just to keep up with the discussion. (Maybe not dozens but a lot.) I was posting the above in the forum thread but it started to feel and look like complaining, so I took ChiTowns advice and moved it to a blog--and made it longer

It looks like Dozier has been employing the leg kick in his stride lately, though not as pronounced as Donaldson's.

But organizationally he was on our own top 10 lists. Seth had him at 10 http://twinsdaily.com/_/minnesota-twins-news/minnesota-twins-minor-leagues/seths-top-30-minnesota-twins-prospects-2016-r4434 Sickels had him at 8 http://www.minorleagueball.com/2015/11/5/9677606/minnesota-twins-top-20-prospects-for-2016 For the record, I agree with everyone who argues that he strikes out too much to have much promise as a major leaguer, I just appreciate the angle the OP came at it from. I also appreciate the explanation spy cake gave, with maybe a tiny dash of "full locker room" theory for good measure

    tomorrow afternoon in Oakland http://m.mlb.com/gameday/angels-vs-athletics/2016/09/07/448947?#game=448947,game_state=preview,game_tab=

He has been on top 10 prospect lists, so I disagree.

Cubs did that in 2014, too. Pitchers and catchers first 12 rounds and nothing else. http://www.baseball-reference.com/draft/index.cgi?team_ID=CHC&year_ID=2014&draft_type=junreg&query_type=franch_year

I would be in favor of that. ABW was a Top 10 guy on a lot of lists this past spring, but he'll be 25 next spring without a realistic chance to make the 25 man roster, so the shine is probably off him a little. But bundling him, absolutely. Antony seems more likely to do a trade like that than Ryan did.

I agree completely. As the Twins now have a semi-decent outfield and prefer to use the Mastroianni/Murphy/Schafer types as back-ups, the only realistic chance Walker will have to play in the bigs is as a September call up. So he will have to wait another year. Well, Beresford was finally called up so Walker can at least take hope in that. The Twins could have used a pinch hitter and outfield sub today, and it might have been a nice spot for Walker instead of Grossman.
  13. Hosken Bombo Disco
No, you do not need to discuss any of those things. The OP came at it from the angle that just about every player who was eligible to be called up to the Twins was called up to the Twins, except for Walker. So why not? I have the same question about that, actually.

    Not a bad idea.

foul ball or as Carneal would say "count rides along at 2 and 2"
  21. Hosken Bombo Disco
Two balls, two strikes, two on, two out or, as Scully would say Deuces Wild
  22. Hosken Bombo Disco
Well, Kendrys goes boom, unfortunately. I still like what Berrios did today. He is building a mental book on the KC hitters which he will add to in the future.
  23. Hosken Bombo Disco
So Rosario snuck home from second on a sac bunt? There was a successful sac bunt????
  24. Hosken Bombo Disco
