    That is ridiculous. Any MLB player caught doing anything remotely similar to that should be given a choice: 14-day suspension, no pay, under strict quarantine; or No quarantine, do your thing, suspended for the season.

    This is what I heard on the radio: Ground ball to Polanco, off target throw, batter-runner reacts and tries to avoid first baseman trying to field errant throw, Polanco’s throw hits runner, runner doesn’t touch first base, Garver retrieves baseball and tags runner. I am putting it here because it couldn’t find a place to put it in the Twins Daily member biography I’m writing?
