  1. Twins baseball fever. Catch it!
  2. I'm at work so can't see Dozier's at-bat, but this would be a fine time for a dinger. EDIT ADD: But I'm fine with a walk, too.
  3. Still, his last half-dozen starts have all shown improvement each time out.
  4. If Gibby keeps throwing zeros = turned corner?
  5. And on the offensive side, gotta like his stinging two-out gapper and later avoiding injury to the pitcher and himself on his swinging bunt. The guy's a great athlete.
  6. The question is, How will you manage the flight over Kansas?
  7. Double down: Now three outs from first place.
  8. Six outs away from saying "the first-place Minnesota Twins."
  9. Possible TD'ers are bored with the Twins beating up on Cleveland every day and are waiting for a real challenge.
  10. I just love watching Santana do great. Not so fun when he's not. That is all.
  11. Fun fact: Half of Tomlin's HRs allowed this season happened in the first 15 pitches. (That's seven out of 14.) That is all. UPDATE: Tomlin is at 16 pitches. Our window of opportunity has closed on that statistical tendency. Now, Erv, all we ask is for you to be great.
  12. And Cleveland must be in some real pain by now. "How can this bunch of hasbeens and never-wases beat the best pitcher in the AL?" Not to mention teams with arguably much more talent -- New York, Baltimore, Detroit, Boston, Texas, and even a temporarily surging KC -- doing poorly when they should be running laps around the Twins. But they aren't. Somewhere, somehow a Nuke LaLoosh is lurking and will come to the rescue for that 4th or 5th starter. We may shock the world yet.
  13. I'm at work and didn't see Duffy's last K, but my guess he got Santana out with three wicked slurves in the zone. Speaking of Duffy, is he a pitcher now, or what?
  14. Grrrrrr. Couldn't get Grossman in from 3rd, no outs.
  15. Speaking of Heisenberg, he was always hard to keep track of.
  16. Nah. But he is pitching a no-hitter. /jinx on/
  17. Note to Mejia: Don't walk guys hitting .174. That is all.
  18. Bauer is good enough to be the Twins spot starter. (Kidding. He can be pretty good.)
  19. Bauer's having trouble finding the plate first pitch. We should tee off on him.
  20. Game's official. Not our night. So far. Come back tomorrow.
  21. Now we know all about your grammar. But what about your grampa?
