    The other thing to learn is that it's OK to trade away your best pitcher (e.g. Samadzija) if they're not going to help you down the road.

    I can't help it. Whenever I see Nick Greenwood's name I think of Lee Greenwood, and then I get the song "Proud to be an American" stuck in my head. It's terrible!

    I was surprised in the post-game interview that Kepler had almost no discernable German accent. He sounded downright Minnesotan.

    This team is 15 - 48. (made that up, but close enough) Trade him. Also trade Dozier, Plouffe, E. Santana, and anyone else you can find in the locker room over the age of 27.

    Thorpe has mono? Oof da. PS. I think you mean "walked" here... Wade was the Twins ninth-round draft pick in 2015 out of the University of Maryland. ... Again he shows a very professional at bat and has struck out 22 times to go with 38 strikeouts. He was named a starter in the Midwest League All Star game in Cedar Rapids and could be in line for a promotion to Ft. Myers in the season’s second half.
