    Why on earth spend big money on a catcher? Ridiculous. Sign AJ or Buck for a year and load up on pitching. For goodness sakes, what more does Pinto have to prove? Sure maybe he's not a finished product, but let him learn on the job. Its not like they're contending in 2014 anyway.

    One of modern baseball's worst revenue situations? Not buying it for a second. Wasn't the new ballpark supposed to take care of that problem? The money is there. They can put it into payroll (even if heaven forbid they have to overpay), or they can put it in their pockets. There's a whole lot of deception going on here.

    I absolutely love when Ryan goes out of his way to say nobody wants to play here. Don't they consider themselves the model organization? They have a beautiful ballpark. April is cold. Big deal. Players dont want to come here for ONE reason. The Twins NEVER make the highest offer. PERIOD.

    I cancelled my season tickets too. I only had a partial plan, but I cancelled it. I cant support this. Spend some money and get back to me. I'm a forgiving person.

    Way too valuable to play in the outfield? Classic overthinking. I want the best 9 on the field, I dont care what position they play. Sure if you can trade Rosario for a top sp prospect you do it, but what are the odds of that happening? And concerning Arcia, I didnt realize there was an age cutoff to play DH. He is a terrible OF.

    We hear similar garbage every offseason. I'll believe it when I see it. Has any team spent less in free agency the last 20 years? What's the most they ever spent? 3/$21m to Willingham.

    Well they came nowhere close to 50% last season so they got a long way to go on 2014's payroll to "average" things out. It takes alot of nerve. Get the public to build them a stadium, then put a team like that out there three years in a row. And their idea to charge prople to watch batting practice? All you need to know.

    Thats the thing that gets me. Why not save money from the years they're under 50-52% and save it for years when they can spend more? Instead they're on a year to year basis. How convenient. What I wouldnt give for an owner happy to break even and spend the rest on payroll. Its not like Calvin Griffith. The Twins were his livelihood. His ONLY source of income. The Pohlad's have made their billions elsewhere. That family is truly disgraceful.

    I love Rosario in LF. Dozier would be a disaster at SS. Stick with Florimon until Santana or Polanco beats him out. LF Rosario CF Buxton RF Hicks or Kepler DH Arcia

    Maybe not franchise ruining, but their playoff appearances from 2003-2006 could have turned out much differently.

    Any scenerio would have been an improvent. Sure would have been nice to have him in 2006. Rondell White wouldnt have been signed. No Tyner/Nevin at DH.

    Always came across as lazy to me. Seemed to always be pudgy and out of shape. Was the bad knee his excuse for not staying fit? His last year with the team when he milked a relatively minor injury was pretty much the nail in the coffin.
