  1. That's some good stuff there.
  2. Nice article. I think the Twins did ok with this trade.
  3. I'm a believer and like the risk vs reward for the Twins. Most seem to think he will not improve much and obviously other teams had there concerns so they could be right. I just feel optimistic that he is going to pitch well this year.
  4. That is very interesting. Kinda shows what we already know. You can't necessarily buy wins. Your team has to come together regardless of payroll to win.
  5. I like Turner a lot and I think if he hits and can keep from getting injured he will be a perennial All-Star. As much as the Twins need a Shortstop they need pitching far worse. Pitchers fail at higher rate and their careers are typically shorter so we need a lot of them if we plan on getting better for the long haul. I think the Twins will go pitcher in the first two rounds for sure and they should even though they will miss out on the dreamy shortstop prospect.
  6. Very nice article and I agree that those players do not likely fit well into the teams long term plans and we need spots available to find out what we have for talent behind them. I also agree with Brandon though in that the Twins are in a position to be patient and try and to drive up the value of the players you mention. If that doesn't work out over time then I guess you desperately try to find a trading partner or let the player go. It's a tough job being a GM and coming out on top all the time.
