    There were a handful of guys who chewed on my high school baseball team. I'm from a small school in southern Iowa made up of a lot of country kids, so chewing tobacco isn't exactly uncommon. That said, I don't use chewing tobacco, but I don't care if other people do it. I don't have a problem with MLB players doing it, but I also wouldn't care if it was banned.

    I think it's just not our year. We can't seem to get the offense and defense going at the same time. Hopefully they can turn it around.

    Miguel Sano is something like 6'4" ~240 lbs. That is a large person and it's difficult to look cut at that size. What's wrong with eating some fish you just caught? If anything it is more fresh than what you buy from the store.

    Maybe we have different definitions of an ace. When I think of an ace, I think of Kershaw, Price, Felix Hernandez, Wainwright, Darvish. How are we going to get one of those guys without trading Buxton or Sano? I agree that the Twins need a top of the line pitcher if we want to win a World Series, but I don't see how we can get one without trading Buxton or Sano.

    To be honest, I hardly care about who is commentating a baseball game on TV. I'm usually focusing on the baseball game, so I hardly hear them or what they are saying doesn't really register. It's like ambience to me.

    That would be great! He has had a good first half of the season. My only problem with it is I haven't been able to make it to a Kernels game yet!

    Yeah I'm not sure how his K-rate benefits from playing in the stadium. I guess he is ignoring that stat.

    Christensen was 1-4 with his third 3B of the year last night. His average is now .295. Over the last 10 games his slash line is .316/.372/.605/.977

    Tim Shibuya seems to be one of those guys that just gets it done no matter what role he has. Is Wimmers in the bullpen for good?

    I wouldn't have a problem with Eric Fryer sitting on the bench opposed to Pinto. Pinto needs to play, and he isn't going to play if he is struggling and Suzuki is playing well, especially now with Morales.
