The next time Buxton plays on grass is when he mows my lawn.
  2. PuckettPond
This is more painful than stepping on a Lego block barefoot.

Hoffman could be going down the TJ surgery road. The limited pitch count seems he was damaged goods when Twins traded for him.
  4. PuckettPond
Hoffman makes Twins fans uncomfortable. Bad trade giving up a promising LHP. Will Culpepper play his natural position @ 2nd base?
  5. PuckettPond
Yes, if they are used properly. Do not put a square peg in a round hole.

Draft catchers early & often as cornering the market will reap great rewards & other teams over pay when trading excess.

Tom Pohlad is not the problem he is the solution. If not he than who? What has happened to Oakland & their sport teams can happen here.
  8. PuckettPond
Common sense, as it is needed with the Twins, their fans & the general public.
  9. PuckettPond
If Ober is in the starting rotation then the Twins will have a failed season because of injuries or FO sitting on their hands this winter. We can & must do better.

Twins need another good arm in or out of the bull pen. Looking forward to watching him this spring training.

There will be more Big Foot, Elvis & Unicorn sightings than Buxton playing Center field. Fans must stop listening to Jim Jones & not drink the Kool Aid. People with hip injuries use walkers not baseball bats. Baseball lost their greatest player Bo Jackson to a hip injury.
  12. PuckettPond
Buxton will also need a hip replacement. He will never be the same as it is doubtful he plays in 2027. He is doing more harm than good to the Twins. Please retire for the sake of everyone as he will only embarrass himself.

    Where is our George Brett.
  14. PuckettPond
Payroll should be based on attendance since Twins attendance is the lowest in 20 years you have your answer. Fans get the team they deserve. Sorry if the truth hurts.
  15. PuckettPond
    He was AWFUL!
  16. PuckettPond
Lackey is athletic enough if catching does not work out can play corner infield & corner outfield. Which makes him a great draft pick & prospect. Looking forward to watching his career. He is exciting, talented & over here. He will bring positive news to Minnesota instead of negative news now. Win Win.

The cupboards are bare we need trades & the draft for help. Winter trades brings spring Hope. Twins are losing the Arms Race. Changes in the scouting department is needed & necessary.

It has been well known Royce Lewis does not & will not accept coaching. He is a bad teammate & player as his last few seasons prove this. A 1st overall draft pick who turned into a below average player. "When kittens are born in an oven it does not make them biscuits." Chef Gordon Ramsey

Hopefully he will be the last 1st round first baseman drafted as history tells us it is a hit or miss. Catchers who can hit and not catch move to 1st base. Justin Morneau, Joe Mauer, Carlton Fisk just a few examples, did I miss any?

Erod will be fun to watch in the coming seasons. Hopefully his base running improves. Improvement over the bad outfielders we had in the start of the season. Looks like he can play all 3 outfield positions. Young, exciting, promising outfielders will be a breath of fresh air next season. Buxton will have a long journey back from hip surgery.

Selling would have been better for everyone. What is the Twins 3 year plan, do they have one? Besides players what do the Twins need to be better? Baseball is losing fans, Twins are not on major streaming services "out of sight out of mind" they shorten the draft to 20 rounds now talk of going to 12 rounds. Actions of a failing business. Gym class soccer has more fans in the stands.
  22. PuckettPond
Zebby is one of our hopes in next year's starting rotation.
  23. PuckettPond
Sabato will be Twins Lou Gehrig
  24. PuckettPond
When fans stop attending games this is what we get and deserve. Lowest attendance in 20 years. Green Bay Packer fans are loyal.
  25. PuckettPond
More changes needed. No half measures.
