    That's really been the story of the season post-All-Star Break, in all facets. Dan Hayes said on the TCT podcast yesterday that the energy on the team hasn't quite been the same since the break.

    Telling stats from Zack Pierce at the Athletic: Since the San Diego series, which, if you recall, we entered as the 3rd Wild Card, we're something like 28th in baseball in RISP average and 29th in RISP at bats. So your eyes weren't deceiving you: The bats have been really bad lately.
