  1. Going back a few innings, should Jeffers have been sent home on the Lewis double? They never showed a replay. I know he’s not fast but that looked like a bases-clearer at first glance. Relay got dropped too.
  2. Yup - Sept.:Oct. would obviously be preferable, but this will do for now.
  3. Meaningful baseball on a Saturday night in August against the team with the best record in MLB: Hey, I’ll take it!
  4. My theory is Kody’s pressing for homer number 20. He was stuck on 19 for the last two weeks of 2025 after his 3-homer game. No doubt he badly wants it this year.
  5. I don’t have a problem with the send in that situation. Required a really good relay by the Brewers.
  6. I know it's hip around here to totally rip on the guy, but I've seen worse players at the big league level. His production dropped off for sure, no doubt. But Gray provided some much-needed spark at various points in the first half of the season. Could be the last time he's in The Show. Time for an energy boost at SS, but he gets nothing but respect from me. And I'm sure his teammates feel the same way. This baseball sh*t is hard.
  7. So blacked out on Twins.TV? Blessing in disguise perhaps. Might need a night off... Just go win a damn baseball game, guys.
  8. Pretty funny watching the postgame presser with Shelty. He's like, I thought we had some good at-bats against Cameron. How many strikeouts did we have against him? Media member says, Nine. Shelty: Nine? Oh (chuckles), that was a lot more than I thought. Yeah, Skip, it was, and is, that bad.
  9. OK, I’m gonna leave my negativity in the game thread and hunt the good: Kremer was solid and steady, if unspectacular. Best I can do.
  10. Witt’s play - which was amazing in how routine he made it look - saved multiple runs. But you can’t let that be your only scoring opportunity. That was our only inning with a RISP.
  11. In another place & time, Austin Martin’s catch in the 8th saves the season. Instead, instantly forgotten.
  12. How fitting that Cory didn’t get back to talking about our RISP struggles because we never got a runner in scoring position after the 4th. 😭
  13. He basically stopped producing the moment Jeffers came back.
  14. I dunno, Cory, looked like Martin robbed him of a homer there.
  15. 🚨 🚨 This is getting a bit awkward having Pablo in the booth.
  16. Would’ve been nice to have a challenge left on that 1-0 missed call before the homer…
  17. Cory said he was going to elaborate more on the recent RISP struggles, just before Vic GIDP. I’m guessing we’re near (or at) the bottom of the league in RISP average since the ASB.
  18. Think Zebby even unpacked his bags? See you soon, bud! 🤦🏼‍♂️
