    I think he was sent down due to the rules about who has more options left and who doesn't. Lawrence has the best earned run average on the team so the rules make him have to go to AAA. evidently the twins don't think anybody in the bullpen is not worth keeping by giving up on your best era reliever. I saw his last game and he was really great. another guy the the twins don't seem to like is Bowman. his last two games have been phenomenal. he has been on a streak of success so that's another guy that needs to be up there.

    I was reading on how the Milwaukee Brewers do it and look where they are. I'm just making up an example so when you have a great star player and he has given the team 12 great years but Mike can give three more great years. there are organizations that would love to have that three great years for some ready or almost ready replacement to build on. if you wait until he's completed his entire majorly career, he don't have anything to replace him with that's related to him. we certainly don't want to lose Byron Buxton but if he was traded for a place of great need like a starting picture and a high quality relief person. then he can know that when he got traded he helped the team. but if he is determined to wait until retirement, he's not helping the team's future at all. well, that's just one man's opinion. if anything's not written well, I don't proofread these things as I say them.

    I did not think about how lackey was acquired. you know you have to look back at things and roden I'm thinking he made a number of adjustments and he still looks like he can become something great out there. but so far his batting average is still very low, but we're hopeful.

    I like the Bradley trade and I have high hopes for Rojas. I think he's special and yes, Varland was just kind of average but I think he has the best iron run average in the league right now for a closer. that's a lot to lose. however, the bullpen is getting better, isn't it? yesterday is two nothing loss was a disaster

    of course you never see anyone in the twins organization participating in the remarks section, but I would certainly like an answer as to why the two best closers in the game aren't at least one of them still playing for the twins? Yes, that was some good talent acquired, but I don't see any of those people replacing an individual who can close baseball games with only rarely giving up a run, ensuring the win as important as that part of the game is. I've been a twins fan since the middle '60s. I've never seen this kind of release of talent before and the return is never what you think it's going to become because they're still in the minor leagues unproven Major League talent so you're taking a big chance and it rarely works out. there are so many examples of that. so Mr. Falvey in spite of your supposed great baseball knowledge, ability to evaluate this is a no.

    I think Bell leads to team and runs batted in. would you really want to trade your RBI leader?

    that is the main thing. how could the GM let varland go for two people that look really good but you don't know for sure this is baseball. varland has become a superstar. he was perfect for the twins organization and the GM sits in the booth. oh! we love Louie but it was the opportunity we couldn't pass up well. seems like you were wrong. emphatically pathetically wrong. glad you're gone. I tried to believe in you but it's not possible. never was.

    Yes Lackey is incredible. I saw some video on the number 4 pick which was the next pick. Forget his name, a pitcher. Now I saw real incredible so I was kind of hoping for that. That dude was light years ahead of all other pitchers in the draft.

    every team has injuries but this team just mounds one on top of another. it's amazing they have the record they do considering that. there are qualified outfielters in AAA and to improve the bullpen you have to give something to get something. so in order for even one of them to come up you have to trade or somebody gets hurt or they're not coming up until September. Roden Will be on the bench when Buxton returns. Larnake has worked hard and has a improved season. so the only way to get a good reliever is to trade a good player. there are several I think could do well in left field and maybe a good 2.90 era. reliever could be acquired. All the good pitching Major League ready seems to already be up due to injuries.

    unfortunately, yes, that is true. I think the guy is going to be phenomenal and very enjoyable to watch on the mound. it's a great loss.

    if this team is going to serve up home runs to one guy Goodman by placing the ball in exactly the same spot, three consecutive times at back. that's his home run spot and we just gave it to him three straight times. don't they talk about this stuff in The dugout? he hit a home run from right there. don't put it there again. I don't know when I've seen it that bad. you're not going to win ball games if you do stuff like that so you might as well sell players off at the trade deadline but hopefully that won't be the approach.

    certainly he's not a center. fielder we don't know why he was there but he plays the outfield pretty well otherwise and the numbers he's been putting up in AAA has been way good again. we don't know what's going to happen when you get in front of Major League pitching.

    I wasn't big on Bell so much either but he's on the way to 90 runs batted in if everything goes like it's been going on. we have plenty of people for the field so he's become a pretty good DH.

    The twins used to be known for defense. now the defense is worst I've seen in years. Roden is great. at defense it's lights out at the plate. hopefully that can transfer to the major leagues somewhat I'm afraid Warner's just going to go back to striking out a lot. he's never done anything else but that. we recall Vargas who hit the longest home runs you've ever seen and Warner can put it out there but that's it. they don't last as Major league players. The saints are loaded with great outfielters but Fedko did not hit in the spring games and he has demolished AAA but he must be a AAAA player when it comes to offense. great young man. hate to see him demoted but I think it's time for Roden.

    Gray has had some good timely hits but the defense even getting into base path of a runner. I don't see Arcia being DFA'd at all. he is simply a former All-Star who can still hold his own on defense and at the plate. I was very surprised to see he was the one picked to go.

    whatever happened to the idea of play? who is hot at the moment? Mr. arcia and nobody's going to hit 500 but that's where he's at right now. after a few games on the diamond. he also plays some pretty decent defense, a former All-Star right now. that's what he looks like an All-Star and he hardly gets to play. the two people who are playing shortstop other than him are not considered for string players, but here we have a first string player. we're on the verge of making it into the playoffs in a very bad division. but it could happen if you play your best players. I really don't understand this. he's on the roster. our second baseman is continually showing he can't catch the ball. all that well. Arcia is fluid as a defender.

    when you wait a year and a half for a guy to get his swing back and he's such a likable player that does not constitute someone. you keep throwing out there. his swings don't look good. Mr. arcia is really doing the job. He's the veteran with the experience. and please let's don't let Bowman get away into free agency today. he just struck out the side yesterday. 1.69 give the guy a chance. do we have a spot we could move? somebody I think so. let's get Arcia in the lineup. I think Lewis batten average is about the same as Wallner when he was sent down. or we can just keep watching eight guys get in scoring position and can't score any of them. Base is loaded first. inning can't score anybody. who's not seeing this that makes these decisions?

    what about Orlando Arcia??? honestly, I don't care about his age. whoever the player is if he's performing that well. hasn't lost anything much except at shortstop. the guy can still play defense at 3rd and second. why is he not up there? we have people that can't hit the ball at those positions.

    The twins have have until tomorrow with Bowman who is pitching quite well. I need to move somebody because we need a reliever who can relieve. well the other topic of Mr. Lewis after a year and a half of futility he needs to go down and bring up Arcia who is wasting away at AAA.

    My heart sank when right at the end varland was gone and a falvey said we love Louie but it was a deal we couldn't pass up. he ruined the team with his horrible mistakes at the trade deadline except for Bradley. now ownership is going to keep paying the bills and not reinvesting any money into the team. just picking up released players and this could go on for several years. the team cannot survive in this crazy money environment the way they are operating things. 60 years being a follower of the Minnesota twins and it's getting worse than ever. second base and third base currently need to be put back into AAA and I think we all thought he would go down too. but he's doing well. Right field needs to go down and there are people who could brighten our days a little bit when it comes to baseball in AAA.

    Yes this is the message they all made sense but this one really does. have been wanting to see Bowwanting to see Bowman back on the team all season and they keep picking other people or picking up somebody else. now they can show how stupid they can be when it comes to relief. pitching before somebody else gets him because he'll get picked up quick. he has no reason to stay with the twins knowing he has other job our opportunities coming.

    Fundy has a 2.81 era. that is a really good era. I'm not sure who on the staff can beat that. most of our relievers aren't even close. Rojas yesterday somehow overall based on runs aloud had a good game but my God he can't find the plate. his pictures so many of them are so far from the plate area. they wave off away and I was surprised he only had three walks. He's going to have a lot of 3-2 counts if he doesn't get control. but if this guy can control himself, he will be incredible. he threw the ball into center field. OMG. I'm sitting here talking to myself. somebody show this dude how to get the ball inside the strike zone before you stick him out on a major League field. I think Rogers has to do a lot worse even though he's doing terrible to get sent away anywhere. he's a special young man for the Minnesota twins so they're going to try hard to keep him.
