  1. swr was the best pitcher we had in September. he came in with a new pitch and he just did absolutely phenomenal did no one notice that? he had some injury time and he probably tried to pitch through it. a little lowering his era but this guy is top notch. as far as the fifth starter, I'm thinking they're going to pick Bradley. who has it been all that good but at the end of September he also was fantastic. Abel did as good as you can do against his old team. if that's how he's going to pitch in the future then have at it make him number five but he has no history of greatness like he did that game and neither does Bradley but Richardson has some great games. I'm thinking I'm going to want to try to be in front of the TV every time he gets on the mound. I find it to be an enormously entertaining and wonderful time, but most of you call me crazy. okay that's fine. since I live so far from Minnesota I look at the ticket prices except for this new $3 game thing and other stadiums being like this. also, everybody should boycott do not go my God $300 $900 to watch one baseball game anywhere is crazy.
  2. Prielipp is having a really tough time staying on that mound for five or six innings or so meaning he just keeps getting injured. this looks more like a relief situation meaning you're not out there usually but one inning but maybe there could be a compromise and he could be a long reliever but a starter. I think his days are over for that. everything else said here was very good.
  3. Very well said. they gave up a pretty good AAA guy for a catcher. Jackson who I understand doesn't hit very well and now they don't even need him.
  4. The talk of trades of any of us starting pitchers maybe they like it playing for Minnesota, but do you want to stay with a team that has such pitiful relief pictures. they could be in the lead by four or five runs in the 5th or sixth inning and they don't get a win that's going to happen all season. this is where the ownership knew they were selling off. any chance of a wedding season to pay off bills. this means they don't have the credibility to be owners. we are overgrown with outfielders but since no real good ones are left to sign. is it that somebody that needs an outfielder that could give up some relief fishing. they may not need so much? but the money is not going to be put up for it. nobody should show up the whole season really. I've been a follower of this organization since 1964. never seen anything this bad even when you consider the 103 lost season.
