  1. I'm really excited for the season and I really hope we surprise more than a few people in a good way this year.
  2. i really hope its nothing serious but as twins fans it will probably be an injury that knocks him out 2 months
  3. The Twins farm system has gotten much better in the past year or so, not just because of trades but also players taking strides in development. It's got to a point that there are too many arms for the current Major League rotation, lets break down these arms and their futures. Mick Abel RHP, 24 | Exceeded Rookie Limits. Abel and C Eduardo Tait were traded to the Twins during the 2025 Trade Deadline for Jhoan Duran, he made a few starts and didn't look very good, but in his final start of the 2025 season he showed out with 6 innings pitched and 9 punchouts in only 73 pitches versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Abel was a high ranked prospect during the 2020 Draft as he was selected 15th overall that year. Abel showed enough potential to the Phillies that they called him up earlier this year for his first start facing Paul Skenes and the Pittsburgh Pirates, you could say that Abel out-dueled Skenes which is a feat very few can say. Abel has a high ceiling but needs to have better control over his pitches, the biggest problem for him was leaving stuff over the plate too much . He already has pretty solid major league stuff and he could be a breakout candidate for the Minnesota Twins this year if he gets the shot to do so. Dasan Hill LHP, 20 | Twins No 7. Hill is the player in the lowest level in this list by far only reaching A+ Cedar Rapids and making a majority of his starts for Low-A Fort Myers this year but has shown some crazy potential. Hill was one of the few pitchers selected by the Twins in the 2024 draft as he was selected 69th out of Grapevine High School in Texas. Hill showed incredible strikeout numbers in 2025 with a K/9 at 12.0 the only thing really concerning about him was his control, he gave up 40 free passes in 62 innings this year. But still he only gave up 2 homers in that time and only gave up 44 hits too. If Hill can develop his control and his pitches more he will be a star at the big league level for years. Connor Prielipp LHP, 25 | Twins No 9. The most impactful thing Prielipp can do this season is stay healthy. Prielipp's injury troubles started even before he was drafted by the Twins in 2022. he missed the entirety of his 2021 season recovering from Tommy John surgery but was still selected by the Twins with the 48th overall pick. Prielipp has looked great when he's been on the field showing great swing-and-miss stuff along with above average control. Prielipp has shown he is close if not already fit for the majors, he has this years Spring Training to prove why he should be on that 26-man roster. Prielipp is still expected to be a starter in the majors. Kendry Rojas LHP, 23 | Twins No 5. Rojas, along with OF Alan Roden was acquired during the 2025 deadline for Louie Varland. The 6"2 lefty out of Cuba played all the way to AAA in the Blue Jays organization before being traded to the Twins. Rojas doesn't throw velo nor has as good of strikeout numbers like Hill or Prielipp but he has potential to be a guy who you put out on the mound every fifth day and he shoves 6 innings of 2 run ball with weak contact all over. Rojas still has much more room for improvement so he will likely stay in AAA St. Paul for most of this season if not all of it, but he reminds me of a guy like Jake Odorizzi. Riley Quick RHP, 21 | Twins No 10. Though Quick has yet to even make his professional debut there is plenty of upside to him. The 6"6 pitcher was not only one of Alabama's top high school prospects for baseball but he was also a 4-star lineman in football, but chose to play baseball over football when he committed to the University of Alabama. Quick had Tommy John surgery in early 2024 but came back quick (No pun intended) and played a full season in 2025. Quick has an elite fastball-slider mix with both having 60 grades, his changeup also has good potential getting up to the high 80's which moves with sink and fade. Quick still needs to work on control though walking 3.5BB/9 but it was a vast improvement from his freshman season where he was walking almost 9BB/9. Quick will likely start at Low-A Fort Myers but I suspect if he pitches well he could get a taste at AA Wichita. C.J. Culpepper RHP, 24 | Twins No 17. Culpepper was a reliver through most of his collegiate career at Cal Baptist but became a starter in 2022 which led him to get drafted by the Twins in the 13th round of the 2022 MLB Draft. Culpepper wasn't anything too impressive but you could see him getting better and improving during the 2023-24 seasons but in 2025 he showed why he could be apart of the Twins future big league rotation making 15 starts and putting up an ERA of 2.65 in 54.1 innings of work. Culpepper's strikeout numbers aren't anything crazy and his control still needs work but he has a large repertoire of 5 pitches and knows how to use every single one well. Culpepper will likely make a start or two at AA and then make the transition to AAA St. Paul. He could be apart of future rotations or the bullpen depending on how he does this year and so on. Andrew Morris RHP, 24 | Twins No 19. Morris transferred to Texas Tech after 3 years at D2 Colorado Mesa and pitched a solid season with good strikeout numbers which eventually got him drafted by the Twins in the 2022 MLB Draft with the 114th overall pick. Morris has been great in the minors in his career with 2024-25 being some great seasons as he saw himself go from A+ Cedar Rapids to AAA St. Paul while pitching over 220 innings with an ERA under 3.00 while having good strikeout numbers and showing solid control. Morris is currently on the 40-man roster for the Twins and trying to crack the major league roster during Spring Training, he likely has a good chance of at least being a bullpen arm but he has more upside as a starter. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Twins pitching staff has a lot of potential and could be a key role to future success, with young arms with strong stuff to more experienced players that draw weak contact, the Twins hope that these arms continue to develop and make major and minor league impacts.
  4. I really like this move, really hope it builds some momentum in the FO for maybe more moves during this part of early spring training.
  5. i like the jersey, but change the damn hats to the famous M
  6. i really hope we contend again, going to G2 of the wild card serries in 23 was electric .
  7. We still have a long way till the 2026 MLB Draft, occurring during All-Star Week festivities, but its never too early to be thinking about the future. So how will things shake out in this super talented draft class? The twins had the 2nd overall draft pick before the draft lottery boosted the Tampa Bay Rays to #2 and pushed the twins back one to #3. The top 3 finished with the Chicago White Sox remaining at #1, the Tampa Bay Rays at #2. and the Minnesota Twins at #3. Even though college season still hasn't started for Division 1 Baseball many people seem to think that UCLA's Roch Colowsky will be the first man off the board. But besides that its not really certain who will go where, so these players are the ones that I like for the Twins. #1. Alabama SS Justin LeBron LeBron has been a star ever since he stepped onto Alabama's campus, as a freshman he slashed .338/.429/.546 good for an OPS nearing 1.000. He was mostly a hitter who just gets hits, he did tally 12 home runs but only 21 XBH during his 57 games his freshman year. LeBron was named First Team All-SEC, SEC All-Defensive Team, and also named to Freshman All-American team by Perfect Game, NCBWA, and D1Baseball.com. The accolades didn't end there, he also received NCAA All-Tournament Team - Tallahassee Regional, showing his clutch in the postseason. He followed up that incredible freshman season with an even better sophomore season, this time around he slashed .316/.421/1.058 improving his power numbers hitting 18 home runs and racking up 37 XBH in 59 games compared to 21 in his freshman season. LeBron once again received SEC All-Defensive Team, along with being named 2nd Team All-American by ABCA/Rawlings, but his biggest accomplishment it being named a semi-finalist for the Golden Spikes Award. LeBron enters his junior season as a top prospect in the 2026 Draft with legit potential to be a 5-tool player. #2. Georgia Tech OF Drew Burress Burress was turning heads all around the country during his freshman season clobbering 25 home runs while slashing .381/.512/.821 for a ridicules OPS of 1.333 during his 58-game freshman season. He racked up the awards being named 2024 Freshman of the Year by D1Baseball.com and NCBWA. With those stats he also won ACC Freshman of the Year, First Team All-ACC along with being a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award and the Dick Howser Award. In his sophomore season it was only more success, he became the fastest Yellow Jacket to reach 30 and 40 home runs, he led the ACC with 43 XBH while finishing 2nd in home runs with 19. The slash line was once again impressive slashing .333/.469/.693 for an OPS of 1.162. He lowered his strikeouts wile drawing more walks and hitting more doubles. This spectacular season providing even more awards such as First Team All-American by NCBWA, ABCA, CBF, Perfect Game, and D1Baseball.com. Once again he was on the All-ACC First Team, and once again a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award and the Dick Howser Award. Burress is the strongest power bat in the 2026 Draft class. #3. Coastal Carolina RHP Cameron Flukey Flukey I believe is the best pitcher in this draft, the 6'6 RHP can gas it up to near 100 MPH with a heavy strikeout rate and an even heavier drop on the curveball he throws. Flukey showed flashes his freshman season despite having an ERA over 5.00, he had an elite strikeout rate but his control was poor. The 2025 season came around and it looked as if he fixed that control problem while still having incredible strikeout numbers. Flukey struck out 118 batters over 101.2 innings of work while only having surrendered 24 walks compared to 27 in his freshman season with almost 50 less innings pitched. In 2025 and was named to the First Team All-Sun Belt Conference. Entering this year he has big expectations on his shoulders as he just recently got named Preseason Pitcher of the Year by Baseball America and Perfect Game. Flukey is one of the most polished prospects in the entire draft and could be dominate for years to come. Who should the Twins pick from this bunch of players, or should it be someone else who I didn't mention, let me know!

  9. Hated that Popkins firing since it was announced, like gee, he wasn't the reason the team choked.
  10. We have to be missing some part of the story cause what the hell made him do this?
  11. Today the Minnesota Twins announced they traded INF Edouard Julien and RHP Pierson Ohl for RHP Jace Kaminska and Cash Considerations. Kaminska, 24, missed the entirety of the 2025 season due to Tommy John surgery, but had a great season for Low-A Fresno in 2024 recording a 2.78 ERA in 87 1/3 innings of work while striking out 10.7/9IP. Kaminska was drafted in the 10th round of the 2023 MLB Draft out of the University of Nebraska where he had a 4.13 ERA over 15 starts for the Cornhuskers, something strange is that he only struck out 57 batters over the 72 innings he pitched good for only 7.1/9IP. Kaminska was also a 2-time Gatorade Player of The Year in Kansas in Highschool. Though Kaminska was sidelined with TJ this season he still has a high upside for the future twins in 1-2 years as an actual big-league arm. Edouard Julien looked like he was the next big thing after his stellar rookie season in 2023 where he played in 109 games for the playoff-bound twins recording a 2.6 WAR and a 130 OPS+ and finishing 7th in the Rookie of The Year Voting. Julien in 2024 just was not the same player though still recording a positive WAR on offense his performance dipped on both offense and defense finishing with a -0.2 WAR in 94 games. 2025 was much of the same, if not worse recording a -0.8 WAR in only 64 games this time. The Twins Front Office seeing this performance decided it was time to move on from him. Pierson Ohl was added to the 2025 26-man Roster after the Twins sold off roughly half of their players during the 2025 Trade Deadline. Ohl was drafted in 2021 in the 14th round out of Grand Canyon University. Ohl made his debut in late July at 25-years old. Ohl was not very good during the summer months but started to play a bit better down the stretch. Ohl had an ERA of 0.00 in his final 5 games only allowing 3 hits and recording 7 strikeouts and walking 0. Ohl struggled versus right handed hitters with them averaging a .352 average with an OPS over 1.000 in 54 at-bats. The Twins 40-man roster now stands at 39.
  12. I would not be mad if Ryan got traded for a haul, I cant really see him resigning with the Twins.

  14. Today Aaron Gleeman announced that the Minnesota Twins signed LHP Taylor Rodgers to a 1-year $2 million dollar deal for the 2026 season. Rodgers was an All-Star for the Twins in 2021 and was a long time closer for the team before being traded alongside OF Brent Rooker on the 2022 Opening Day to the San Diego Padres for RHP Chris Paddack and Emilio Pagan. Rodgers has played for many teams since being traded off the Twins such as, half a season with San Diego, half a season with Milwaukee, two seasons for San Francisco, half a season with Cincinnati. and half a season with the Cubs. Rodgers used to be a full-time closer and gained almost 80 career saves until 2023 where he was used more against lefty's to play matchups. Rodgers still has a good pitch mixed in his repertoire like his sweeper, but with his other pitch the sinker, it isn't so good. Batters hit a ludicrous .326 with a .537 slug against that pitch in 2025. Rodgers obviously isn't as good as he was back in his heyday with the Twins, but for 2 million dollars in a market where players are receiving contracts worth north of 10 million dollars a year a lot of the time, this is a bargain. Rodgers will now serve as one of the two lefties the Twins have in their bullpen with Kody Funderburk being the other one. The Twins still need one to two more reliable arms if they want to a have a bullpen that wont be dreadful to watch. A corresponding move will have to be made to create room on the 40-man roster, I suspect this is where the Twins will cut some of the either first basemen they have or 4 catchers they have. What are your thoughts about this reunion?
  15. Today it was reported that the Minnesota Twins have signed catcher Victor Caratini to a 2-year deal worth $14 million dollars. Caratini, 32 was the backup for the Houston Astros last season to C Yainer Diaz. Caratini hit 12 HR, drove in 46 while having an wRC+ of just over 100 and an OPS over .720. Caratini has had his best two offensive seasons in his last two years providing better catchup depth and maybe even a spot at first rotating with 1B Josh Bell. Now the Twins have 4 catchers on their 40-man roster, Jhonny Pereda, Ryan Jeffers, Alex Jackson, and now Victor Caratini, so that gives the question, are the Twins gonna stick with four catchers? I believe not, I think that this move could set up Ryan Jeffers for a trade, with Caratini being as good if not better than him the last 2 years. Jeffers gets into free agency in 2027 and some teams are likely willing to give up and solid reliver or two for a solid catcher still making arbitration money. This move is easily the best so far in the Twins offseason. They still have work to do to try to get a couple of arms for the currently weak bullpen led by Cole Sands and Kody Funderburk.
  16. Today it was reported that the Colorado Rockies have signed UTL Willi Castro to a 2-year deal worth $12.8 Million dollars. Castro was traded to the Chicago Cubs during the Twins infamous 2025 Trade Deadline for two pitching prospects in Ryan Gallagher and Sam Armstrong. Castro struggled immensely in the 2nd half batting only .161 with a -0.5 WAR. It got so bad that he was even left out of the Cubs 2025 Playoff roster. Castro is looking to have a much needed bounce back season with the Rockies and Coors Field will likely help him in that matter, he wont be competing since the Rockies are stuck in MLB purgatory currently and have been for about half a decade now. Currently Fangraphs projects Castro to have a 1.2 WAR, while playing in 133 games while still having an OPS under .700. This move by the Rockies will give them much needed position flexibility with Fangraphs projecting him to play third and bat seventh, but Castro played every position besides catcher and first base last year so I don't believe most of his games will be at third.
