    Last year when the Twins were faltering down the stretch and hoping they wouldn't lose 100 games, the only reason to watch, imo, was if Buck would hit a homer. He hit 35. Wow. We are spoiled to get to see one of the most electrifying players in the game on this crap team.

    Let's sign a first baseman and an infielder in FA then trade for more prospects. By then we should have Culpepper at short or third and Gonzalez, Jenkins, Rodriguez should have had at least some playing time. For that to happen twins need to get rid of Larnach, Keirsey and possibly Outman. Then they also have Buxton, Wallner, Martin in of.

    Of course Ryan will get hurt again. He is not an outlier or injury prone. Everyone is getting hurt. Look at the Dodgers pitchers injuries.These days durability isn't as important as pitching as hard as you can and getting hard spin rates. Hopefully teams will find ways to get their aces pitching 200 innings again.

    Exactly!!! This is the problem, why do the Twins think they can rebuild a real with a bunch of thirty year olds it makes no sense.

    Lewis has had an interesting season to say the least, obviously he has not been a great hitter (.688 OPS) but is significantly better defensively and base running. Still, Lewis should not and will not be a defense-speed player although he sure looks like Kebryan Hays this year. Would be running if he was actually hitting?
