  1. Another step forward for Mr. Pineda? Great to see him go 7.
  2. How to beat Seattle: Hit the ball at someone!
  3. The 29 year old self is not seeing the problem. The current version doesn't see the problem, just has more physical limitations than my 29 year old self.
  4. Good grief, I could hear the "clang" of the ball off Seattle gloves.
  5. And these days, you find out before the game is played, right?
  6. Listen to chief, he's an expert about the Old Days.

  8. the space time continuum ripped when the Twins somehow became a good to very good team this year.
  9. Disclaimer: This writer in no way is endorsing the incredible group, Chicago, and, in fact, thinks further exposure to Chicago should probably be limited as much as possible. Disclaimer disclaimer: The management would like to point out the author of this thread appears to be engaging in product placement for some nefarious reason. Please rest assured the author has been warned about continuing these practices. Thank you. Not really TD management.
  10. The Twins are on a West Coast swing, starting in the North, though still south of the Twin Cities, in Seattle, facing the Mariners. This should be an interesting series because the Mariners have been able to put some runs on the board. Though, their pitching seems to be able to give up quite a few runs also. Which is good for the Twins, not so good for Seattle. It's funny, because I sort of kept an eye on Seattle and noticed they had a good record, but looked at how many runs they were giving up and realized their early season record was smoke and mirrors. And, as of this writing, Seattle shows a -12 run differential while our favorite team, the Twins, show a run differential of +52. Now for some things to think about; 1: 7:10 start time on the West Coast. Blech. 2. 9:10 start time for the Midwest. Double Blech 3. Any sort of "light" beer: Blech and ptui 4. Daylight Savings Time: Blech, ptui and arrggh! Pitching for the Twins: Michael Pineda Pitching for Seattle: Erik Swanson 5. Play Ball!
  11. Murdered Row is probably more apt.
  12. I really like him as a player but, darn it, can't he just do his thing against every other team?
  13. May struck out Trout. Wow.
  14. *sotto voice* We've secretly replaced the Twins with the 1927 Yankees. Let's watch and see if anyone notices.
  15. I see the Twins are toying with the Angels today. Let them believe they've got a chance then lower the boom. I like it.
  16. Maybe the FO is about to trade Schoop and Adrianza is going to take his place?
  17. Non-GMO math? Do you have a syllabus?
  18. good job with the thread, Ma'am!
  19. Wow, Twins split today, yet are 5 games up on Cleveland.
  20. Actually, no. I'm not sure that is necessarily a good thing, either.
  21. Duffy pitched like he was on a mission and with a chip on his shoulder. That was cool to watch.
