  1. Yes, well, a bit of ointment will clear those cracks right up...
  2. No one keel over that I remembered to post the lineups.
  3. Nonsense, you asked how it is scored, I scored it a "Yes."
  4. Could you at least let me get my disclaimer written before pointing out my errors?
  5. Disclaimer: This thread, in no way, is accusing the Rays of nefarious activities and the lifting of valuable ideas from the best baseball site on the web, Twins Daily. Nor does the author think the Rays owe anything in the way of monetary damages to the aforementioned site. .....Free tickets to games will suffice. Sincerely, One of many authors of game threads.
  6. It's Tuesday, no baseball yesterday, well, no baseball that counts, which means Monday was an off-day for the home town nine and, it gives me a chance to toss some word salad and create this series opener thread masterpiece. The object of this opener, much like the opener used in games, is to get the ball rolling and then pass the baton to the bulk-writers. The guys who do the heavy lifting for the rest of series. Which brings me to the Rays. The Rays are credited with starting the "opener" then "primary" pitcher. Truth of the matter is, though, TD has long used this format. I think the Rays merely lifted the idea from Twins Daily and rebranded to suit their needs. With that said, I hope Twins Daily, and assorted associated writers, miscreants, low lifes and ne're do wells understand the grave responsibility they have when it comes to influencing baseball. Call it: "The TD Effect." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=444hQMLKwjA&t=74s *I've been trying to work this in some how and, well, decided to just force the issue. Mainly because I think it's funny. With that, here are some things to think about: 1. Can Mr. Gibson rebound from his last not so good start? 2. Can Blake Snell, awesome name and all, fall on his face, just for the Twins? 3.Can Mr. Sano became a regular contributor to the "Bomba" squad? 4. Will Mr. Arraez be allowed to show that he belongs over the next few games? Pitching for the Twins: Kyle Gibson Pitching for the Rays: Blake Snell 5. Play Ball!
  7. Arraez only goes to 2nd base if Dick is told to give up on the "r" roll....
  8. Cellar Dweller sellers?
  9. "Jessica?" Like the way hurricanes are named?
  10. Were there problems with the pregnancy? If so, then, yes, most certainly.
  11. The Twins are 50 and 26. 5 games until the half-way point. This might be a 100 win team?
  12. That turned out to be a great job by Parker. Now, if he could just do that consistently.....
  13. I really don't get this one. 3 run lead, bring in May. Or Duffy.
  14. Ron Davis wasn't available?
  15. KC seems to have some pitching and they darn sure catch the ball. Yeah, they'll lose, but, I don't think they're a pushover, by any stretch of the imagination.
  16. Sending the runner and getting him doubled off due to a soft liner back to the pitcher is hilarious!
  17. That's sort of a daily occurrence, for better or worse.
