    Way back when I used to play, and I used the term advisedly, because I was a player of last resort behind the player of last resort, softball, I won a game by showing everyone else there was no need to swing because the opposing slow pitch pitcher could not put the ball over the plate to save his life. Guys on my team were shaking their heads, but, it was a playoff game. It was comical. Never thought I'd see something like that at the MLB level, though.
