    Here's some other ideas: Limit the number of throws to 1st base when a runner is on. Add another outfielder in order to limit the number of baserunners. Limit the number of shifts per game. Limit the number of foul balls per at-bat. The number of ways to screw up the best game in the world is limitless. Might as well go for it. Baseball is not supposed to be the sports equivalent of a 30 second sound bite. Baseball is a way of connecting to a slower lifestyle and a place to get away from the hectic pace of modern life.

    According the linked article, the Twins are carrying 3 left-handed relief pitchers on the MLB squad. Abad, Rogers and now Boshers. I suspect one of them is not long for the organization. Perhaps Abad is going to be traded? (originally I had Abad as a possible DFA, but that didn't seem to make any sense.

    The shot of Kintzler at the end was priceless. You could almost see Kintzler sag with fatigue after that nail biter.

    I got laid off the week before Christmas, shortly after my car ate its transmission. Did I mention I'd just had to move out because the Mrs. had found someone else? To top it off, the President of the Company came through just before Christmas, after the layoff notice had gone up, to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and ask how everyone was doing. Overall, I think I did very well when I told the president of the company exactly how I was doing. Only one swear word and it wasn't even a big one.

    Hey, the show is back!! Long time fan but wondered if the show was canceled, sort of like the Twins season. Anyway, yes, something did happen today. It turns out Molitor will be manager through 2017. I'm not sure it's wise, but, there it is. Your take?

    My kids are all in their mid-thirties. And no, it doesn't get any easier. I keep thinking it will, some day. Maybe.
