  1. Giving these runs away!!!!
  2. Geez! i have no idea...too far away! but interesting nonetheless.
  3. I know nothing about these guys but the ML draft is the biggest crapshoot of any Draft by alot but It has to be a starter IMO...Gausman or Zimmer I think.
  4. Forgot about Blackie....
  5. People forget the Mets have never had a no-no...Congrats to Johan!
  6. So who replaces Pavano??? he's obviously not healthy so it's either Diamond which they don't want to do or Duensiing which they don't want to do...
  7. Change your avatar I had it first...
  8. I agree with Bonnes......I just don't want to become a team that's constantly rebuilding...like the Pirates and the Cubs and Royals etc... Also people want Gardy fired...well look at how many managers the teams I just mentioned have gone thru??/ and still they have nothing. I think Span is more likely to get traded and could maybe fetch more then Hammer. I agree they have to upgrade their starting pitching but you would'nt you trade from your OF depth in the minors rather then a cheap RH slugger which we have'nt had in yrs!
  9. Unless they get blown away with an offer which i doubt then they should just keep him. He's already 33 and although VERY affordable you won't get a top of the rotation prospect for him...teams just don't give those types. Next deadline or winter of 2013 if he's still producing then I can see a trade.
  10. NO...please NO!!!
  11. Yeah i would agree...just have to keep running him out there everyday. RF or 3B is where he should be when he's playing.
  12. Burnett has been solid, outside of 1 or 2 outings Burton has been good. Perkins has been solid and Duensing too for the most part. Swarzak has been an OK long man. Capps has blown one save but has'nt been great...solid not greta which he is'nt. The pen is NOT the problem! You see the last two games when we get solid starts our offense can usually rally and give us a chance.
  13. Just end the season already...UNREAL!!!
  14. NO way they pick up the $9 mil but I think they try and bring him back on a 1 yr deal and hope he can pitch by midseason next yr. Seths Idea seems most reasonable and Baker likes it here and has only known the Twins so he would consider it I would think. Doubtful another team would offer much more so why would'nt Baker stay with what he knows and hope for the best.
  15. IDK if there is much difference it's just we have more then most teams.
  16. I agree Komatsu and Mastro are the same player basically but someone brought up a good point when Valecia comes back(and you know he will at some point) who gets sent down??? Do we go back to 12 pitchers or if the staff is still in shambles which is likely then what??
  17. Sure we'll see him later in the summer... if not sooner.
  18. Agree! Manship could take Devries spot if he struggles again or they will just wait until Blackie gets back and send down Cole....I don't think any of us thought DeVries was more then a 1 or 3 start guy anyway. Either way Manship is waiting in the wings but can be used as a 6th starter/long relief. As for Komatsu....who really cares, he and Mastro are bascically the same type player. This teams problem is starting pitching not 5th OF'ers
  19. So does Liriano get another chance to start??? Kinda running out of options!
  20. Wasn't Slama below avg at best when he was up with the Twins?? Rather finally see Guerra and if Oliveros can find his control he is the type of hard thrower we lack.
  21. We need starting pitchers so bad I can see it happening just not this season. IF he stays healthy then this winter or next season for sure.
  22. If he stays healthy and productive I think this winter or next season would be the time to trade him, probably get more value if they wait. It's a risk I know but doubt anyone would want him right now given his injuries and salary. Teams would have to see mre then just a couple good weeks/months.
  23. Thought about him today too...weird!
