    Really...you groove one to Prince on a 3-1 count???? rather put him on and take my chances with DY who promptly grounds into whay may have been a inning ending DP....Plus still way too many LOB for the Twins.....UGGGG!

    These injuries are just becoming ridiculous....The man gets up out of his crouch and pops a hammy????.....REALLY! and our #1 RBI man to boot....It's sickening really..

    I think you will see this with Doumit out. Have to keep Mauer at C as much as possible but that may be a problem because he's been playing alot and his knee is probably still sore from the foul tip.

    I'm fine with Swarzak too, put Blackie on the DL and figure out what to do with him. Nobody is this bad so I have to believe the injury has at least something to do with it but right now he's not even worth a long relief role. BTW how much longer is his contract??? gotta be at least a yr or two.

    For me the Joe Mauer argument has little bearing on our situation. The Twins had to sign him...HAD to. It was market value coming off an MVP season while moving into a new ballpark. it had to happen and it did. I agree with shanewahl that Justin's contract which only has on yr left and all the smaller contract to below avg players hurts more. Now the Puljos contract will be an albatross for the LAA but that's a different story.

    You have to part with Marquis and they need a new approach to hitting. Not sure if Molitor or Gladden want to be coaches...Did'nt the Twins offer Molitor the hitting coach posisition a few yrs back??? I could be wrong. With that said don't you think if he wanted it he would have it. Gardy is'nt the problem, nobody is winning with this rotation and No 3B and these injuries to key players. I think Span has to be traded but they need at least 1 promising starter.

    Yes Dozier has to play virtually everyday or it makes no sense. Casilla should be the utility guy, I think the Mauer to the 2 hole will have to wait until Morneau gets back cuz I think you need Willy to bat 4th. Span Carroll Mauer Willy Doumit Valencia ??? Dozier ???

    I like their offensive output so far but they have left a TON of men on base, avg is gotta be below .200 still??...A few more key hits and even with our terrible starting pitching we'd have maybe 10 wins. Also why do I have a bad feeling LAA will get healthy against us like the Bosox did??

    Always a Twins fan....ALWAYS! but I won't get the MLB pkg this yr and halfway thru last I cancelled. I want them to win and follow gameday or the box score every day but my expectations are very low right now so I don't take the losses as hard when i don't expect them to win.

    Span has missed on quite a few clutch opps at the plate so far this yr...two last night I think, one in the 8th but you don't trade him for anything other then a SP or everyday infielder.

    What will 1 more start for Liriano do for him??? His confidence seems to be at an all time low. Send him down and give Diamond another go at it. Let Frankie get as many starts as he needs in Rochester and you still have Swarzak to pug back in if Diamond struggles.

    Why not have him available out of the pen on his off days while we're at it, maybe help out the grounds crew after games.

    Casilla makes a great play one time then a boneheaded play the next..very frustrating! I also think Valencia will be fine.

    I was a little suprised but not upset. Plouffe is basically the same player, really no need for two of them on the bench.

    Makes sense if it's Revere, but what is with this offense?? I thought they broke out of it the other day with 20 hits but it just goes to show you that basesball is SO different from other sports. Something about momentum and the next day's starting pitching??
