    Screw the service time argument for limiting promotion. It's not our money, but it is our lives and the players. We spend roughly 450 hours per year watching or listening to the Twins, and God knows how much time we spend on this website. We want a competitive team. Please, no more participation medals and pats on the back for good try. Winners do the work.

    Good call, but my point was that anyone with hamstring, hip issues should not be going at full speed, stopping, and returning to first base. It has taken a few of our players out.

    A few years ago, they had Buck trying to steal. The batter fouled off three pitches on every steal attempt. Buck came up lame the next day. It happened today. Aren't the coaches communicating with the hitters when a steal might take place? A lot of hitters hate it when baserunners are dancing back forth.
