    It's easy to rip on the Twins (after their off-season rightly so) for access to the games. This problem isn't just for Twins fans.. Marlins, Braves, Tigers broadcasts are in the same sad situation with Bally v .Comcast. 😔

    One report from the dugout indicated that Pablo wasn't having pitch issues but 'concentration' problems during the Sox game. It's nothing new for Twins pitchers to have the wheels suddenly fall off for an inning, see Sonny Gray. Pablo's a smart guy and he should be able to overcome this.. but Jorge Lopez showed us how important the mental issues can be. Let's hope the now hard to find reports about Pablo's concentration are a one time thing.. the catchers can certainly help and hopefully aren't intimidated by Pablo's status in doing so. Warm weather welcome!

    I agree but then he scores the game's first run. Someone is always stepping up to the sausage and you never know who it will be.

    Second slowest pitch to strike out a batter at the end of the game, hmm! He makes me nervous but he doesn't make me Pagannervous. How is Emilio doing this year anyway? Edit.. he's doing Pagan stuff, just looked. 3.7 era and a couple wins for the Reds

    MLB says Austin Martin was sent to St Paul and Carlos Correa is active on the Twins roster.

    The summer sausage is nice but complacency can show up anytime. I view this as a trap series.. they should win 2 but the additions made by the Sox seem to have energized them. I'll be happy to get Correa and Duran back but virtually every player has played a role in this winning streak.. even Margot and Thielbar. Be careful who you send packing, sausage chemistry is a funny thing.

    They'll likely sit him with the Lefty Crochet pitching for Chicago tonight.. hope it's nothing but as Twins fans we always know better..

    The exhale about Pablo returning to 96 mph vs the inhale with Julien tightening up on a meaningless end of the game at bat. Such is life in Twins town. Don't lose focus in Chicago.. they're a different team with a win streak and a Pham.

    Enough five inning starters will eventually increase the need for a two inning closer.

    The bats have come alive.. they did well against a Sox lefty who wasn't Detmers. Sunday's game will be a good test, and a getaway day to boot.. historically a tough day for Twins batters. I'll look to see if Pablo's velocity is back up in the better conditions, and which if any of the left handed batters are in the lineup. A warning.. these won't be the same White Sox we saw last week.

    Nah actually live on the east coast, transplanted Midwesterner. The NFL is the only league that really micromanage starting times like some people would advocate. Outside of weather delays (see KC-Toronto yesterday with the getaway day likely impacting the decision) I honestly love the differing time zones.. makes for seven or eight hours of baseball if the Cubs are at home. 😊

    Seats make money.. a mid to late afternoon game on a Friday in Anaheim wouldn't be a very easy draw just to placate Midwest fans. I bet the Angels fans wish that east coast games started at 10 pm local time too..

    The results worked.. but Rocco took the platoon to an extreme against the lefty Sandoval Friday. Sat Larnach, Kepler, Julien, Kirilloff. We face a better lefty Sunday in Detmers.. it'll be interesting to see if he employs the same strategy. Yeah Farmer.. I got nothing. And Castro is thriving lately in the bottom of the order.

    I don't want to jinx anything but Carlos has some Zebop in his bat lately when he does make contact. Still plenty of whiff..

    Technically the Anaheim Angels are A.A. Should be a piece of cake.

    My Twins Health paranoia said it was ultimately done to push Pablo's next start a bit down the road (which of course it won't!) 🙄

    Hum. If you use Jeffers as DH on a day when you have an above average defensive catcher, that's ok. If the alternative on days Vazquez doesn't catch, is having Jeffers in the lineup as a slightly less adept catcher but you are forced to DH someone like Margot, I don't think that's a net positive.

    Hope the news on Emmanuel is better today. Seems like a productive evening for the young talent!
