  1. It's the same freaking lineup tonight (Tuesday ) just shaken not stirred. No Kepler. Margot leading off. More Farmer, more Vazquez. Sighh.. inanity.
  2. Not sure about the accuracy but MLB said Boushley was pushing four seamers by at 89 mph last night..
  3. Helman 2b, Lee 1b, Lewis 3b, Correa ss, Kepler rf, Buxton cf, Keirsey LF, Castro util/dh, Jeffers, c. Keep Santana and Julien around. Cut or trade everything else. Your eliminated lineup come August. You're welcome Rocco.
  4. I'd be ok with putting Correa as a player-manager.
  5. Guess Kepler will simply wait around for a righty to take the mound? If you have to have Margot hit, please don't put him at number three ..
  6. Willi is going to have to get that last out.
  7. Too bad Edouard Julien is not in to translate..
  8. The game will only be memorable in Twins lore for the one time one Caleb replaces another on the mound.
  9. Incredible. You couldn't make this stuff up. Good thing Vashky hits like he does to excuse his defense.
  10. Caleb Thielbar is not, and will not be, the answer
  11. I don't blame him. He's ready to pop after the umpires last week. He might have something to say about Popkins or Pablo tonight.
  12. No now don't do something to get our hopes up.. Correa HR
  13. All fairness after they got a lead it took two batters to lose it.
  14. Just need to call up Blewett to make it official.
  15. The latest hopes are both starting rehab assignments in Florida, Brooks Lee and Walker Jenkins begin work in the Florida Coast league.
  16. Brooks Lee and Walker Jenkins will be starting rehab assignments, it was announced this afternoon. Lee (back) has been assigned to the FCL Twins on a rehab assignment, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports. Jenkins (hamstring) also was assigned to the same, says Dykstra. It begins, again.
  17. It's a frustrating but fascinating thing to look under the hood when your hot rod isn't running at 100 percent. Is it the coach or the catcher that need tinkering to get the engine to run optimally? Taking a second between laps or pitches to recalibrate is advisable.
  18. I don't think that's what the OP is saying. Someone can be worth drafting but not a good fit with your existing philosophy or roster. The guy has some talent. Rooker would be another bat like the ones we have plenty of already, along with defensive liability.
  19. I'm happy he's having some success in Oakland! The Twins weren't the only one to "give up" (and Pagan and Paddack have given them some value in return) but keeping that fear (glad you mentioned Little Papi) can prevent us from cutting ties when the time is finally right.. see Gallo, Joey or maybe even Larnach, Trevor. Just called his name.. now I bet Gallo hits a grand slam against us at some point this series.. apologies in advance.
