  1. I think he will still be on the team in Arizona. If everything goes right, he won't leave Arizona with the team as he will be DFA'd for Abel to make the start on Sunday.
  2. Better, but this game is still not Lawrence-proof yet. I think the Rockies-A's game over the weekend where the score was 23-9 would be close to Lawrence-proof.
  3. Reporter: "Where did you go on vacation last off-season, Trevor?" Larnach: Alaska Reporter: "Where in Alaska?" Larnach: Livengood, Alaska
  4. The good: Kreidler is in for Gray. The bad: Ryan is out of the game. The ugly: Lawrence is warming up in the pen. I warned you LaTroy. This game is not Lawrence-proof yet!
  5. TBH, I haven't noticed anything you have posted that would have warranted any warnings. Appeals process maybe?
  6. Many of us, including myself, tried to write off Larnach at the beginning of the year. Even if you are judging by will they help next year, the length of time that Jenkins and Emmy have been injured this year would still allow a carveout for Larnach to be around for, at minimum, the remainder of the year and maybe even given a spot early next season. If Buxton is traded, Larnach will need to maintain his position in the OF so someone else can cover CF. Long-term, Larnach is probably not part of the next great team. Short and mid-term, his bat will be needed to put the best team out there to compete every day.
  7. I fear him pitching because he is the current freshest arm out of the pen. Next up is Banda followed by Rogers. Attempting to let him pitch with a big lead is the only way for him to get work in without hopefully jeopardizing the game.
  8. I would like to commend everyone on this website. We are a lively bunch compared to the sister site that I was peeking in on yesterday in Jays Centre. I was following their in-game thread and they were only able to get to five pages of comments. We are over halfway there and only in the 4th inning.
  9. Nice rangy play by Keaschall. Glad he stayed with the ball.
  10. I found the bat that Lewis needs to invest in. He can work on his bat and golf swing at the same time!
  11. Good thing Zebby threw a good game on Tuesday with the day off on Wednesday. Joe Ryan may just barely clear five innings with his current pitch count.
  12. Maybe those social influencers from England that the Twins.TV had on Tuesday made an influence and created some Twins fans over the last couple of day.
  13. Royce, may I present a different head on the end of the bat so it looks like the 7 iron that you are trying to use to reach that ball in the dirt?
  14. Larnach quietly has the best OBP (non-IL) on the team with .368.
  15. This concerns me about going for the sweep in Texas. This entire ordeal started with trying to go for a sweep in Texas.
  16. I watched his outing last night. His line was a bit deceiving. He gave up 3 hits, 3 walks and only 1 K in 59 pitches over those 3 innings. He was also bailed out twice by the Blue Jays defense and once by a freak ball that hit Duran while he was on base that would have put runners on first and second with nobody out. I will suggest that SWR is a better pitcher when he has a league-average defense behind him rather than the league's worst defense. He certainly doesn't have his mechanics figured out yet to be a "I told you so" candidate.
  17. That is just like the Twins organization. They have a chance to alter history and they blow it.
  18. Trevor Plouffe has been honest about his first years in the majors as well. He was a butcher as well constantly airmailing the ball. He was honest about that he was on the chopping block to get sent back down to AAA. He worked on his defense and became a serviceable defender at 3rd. He was never going to win any gold gloves but combine serviceable defense with a decent bat and he turned out okay. Hopefully Keaschall can take the same path, but he will need to be given the chance to do so.
  19. Thank you for the update. The story sounded fun, but it should be accurate. 🙂
  20. For the last month, people on this site have been screaming for Fedko to be called up to the big leagues and let him get AB's. He gets a start last night and is able to get some playing time tonight in a blowout win. I thought we wanted Fedko to get some AB's? Then let him get some AB's, regardless of who it is against.
  21. Update from Cedar Rapids: Jenkins hit his second 3 run jack in the bottom of the 8th inning to give the Kernels an 18-12 lead. The Kernels have now outscored the average point total for the Iowa Hawkeyes football team.
  22. He came in the bottom of the 8th as a defensive replacement. Would you expect Shelton to pinch hit for him knowing there is still a bottom of the 9th?
