    I am becoming convinced that we do not have a LHP that is capable of throwing strikes. Batters can just sit and wait to get a pitch in the zone.

    I agree. I could understand the move if you hadn't already had Gomez warming up. He was warming up in the eighth. Just let him come in and finish the game.
