    It's true that Fundy can't find the plate at times but I'd rather have him figure it out at the ML level and dump someone like Garcia or Topa. I suppose the Twins think Fundy is better served figuring it out down at St. Paul. Even so, until they trim the dead weight with no upside or long term prospects, the bullpen will remain a revolving door with poor results.

    The Twins aren't serious about the bullpen or winning games. That's been crystal clear for a while now.

    Didn't miss much. Got the ESPN alert that it was 4-3 and thought....there's a chance?! Only to see a replay of the last dozen or so games between the Twins and Guardians.

    Royce is the modern day Shane Spencer. I think it was 1993, Yankee fans were convinced that Spencer was the second coming of Joe DiMaggio and he fizzled out hard and quickly. I still think the biggest culprit with Royce is / was injuries and but-for that, he could have been really good for the Twins - not necessarily to the level of 2023, but close. Never say never, but I think the door's closed on him long-term in Minnesota. Would be surprised if he's on the roster next season and that sucks because the game of what-if is a crappy one to play.

    Kind of glad this one is on AppleTV because I can do without the 3-3 tie headed into the 7th only to see the Twins lose 7-3. Even when the Twins were somewhat competent, the Guardians kicked sand in their face in close games. With this bullpen? Woof.
