  1. It's almost impossible to root for this team.
  2. It's ironic that he had that discussion and proceeded to jumpstart Ober's night with an error.
  3. If you think about it, Correa went to the front office and complained about lack of fundamentals and attention to detail. He then proceeded to go out and commit an error that lost the game. Nonetheless, when players start going over the manager's head, it's dead man walking time. Guaranteed that Correa didn't have that conversation without the blessing of the rest of the team. Firing Rocco won't fix everything but it will likely fix something...which is better than nothing.
  4. Yup. Twins need someone with that personality. Too much Minnesota nice.
  5. Come on, Bailey. Don't go off the rails here.
  6. Arozarena looks like he is ready to kill someone.
  7. Lee seems to be figuring it out...which is important when you consider the number of hitters that have come up the last 2 seasons and regressed.
  8. You never know when the next winning, or losing, streak will start. I don't think anyone thought winning the series in Boston would jumpstart the season the way it did. Similarly, I don't think anyone thought that the blowout loss in Oakland would be the start of a tailspin. But, this is such a joyless and lifeless team right now and aside from the winning streak, this has been the Twins MO since that late August game in Texas last season. I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. I see more painful losses and falling further behind in the standings. I guess the only solace is that hitting rock bottom will likely lead to sweeping changes - the same ones that should have happened in 2024.
  9. Time for the Twins to get a divorce from their Bride. Just awful.
  10. They take their cue from the dugout. No sense of urgency. No accountability. The front office didn't do Rocco any favors with this roster. But, I've watching the Twins since 1986. I've seen far less talented teams play hard and play fundamentally sound baseball. This group doesn't even try to do it. And that is on the manager. Firing Rocco isn't a cure all, but it should have happened already and they're delaying the inevitable.
