    In theory, Outman is a 'replacement' for Bader. In reality, when your team is having a fire sale, you don't replace Bader by trading Brock Stewart. Should have gotten a lottery ticket prospect. There's a lot wrong with the Twins' organization. The Pohlad's. Rocco. The roster. Player development. But, I think the biggest problem has and is Falvey. What an absolute joke.

    Wishing Bader nothing but the best in Philadelphia. Solid dude and really played well for the Twins. He'll be missed.

    Too early to write off Correa. I tend to be a bit of a 'homer' when it comes to C4 so perhaps my optimism is misguided. Hope we get the chance to find out.

    I'll hold out hope that Correa will have a Buxton like resurgence in 2026.

    Astros traded for Ramon Urias last night and are said to be chasing Alcantara and Cease. Doesn't necessarily preclude them from trading for Correa, but if they are going after front-line starting pitching, you have to wonder if they'd have enough to meet the Twins' asking price - presuming the Twins aren't willing to get fleeced (again).

    It's franchise altering. In a bad way. This is the return you get of Duran was a rental. He's the best closer on the market and he's controllable through 2027. Just putrid. If I'm Correa and Buxton, I'm asking to be next.

    It's not Painter. A minor league catching prospect and a pitcher currently on the Phillies roster. This front office needs to go.

    If I was a contending team, I wouldn't give up much for Jax. I don't think he has the mindset to consistently pitch well in big spots when the calendar turns to October. He seems to get rattled easily.

    On the bright side, the Guardians are looking at a total reset. The Royals are meh. The White Sox are the White Sox. And, the Tigers could move off Skubal this off-season. AL Central might be really bad again.

    After the 2023 season ended, I deluded myself into thinking the Twins had a 3-4 year window where they could contend for the pennant. The Pohlads are responsible for this. They killed this franchise.

    I think it is too soon to write off Correa. If Buxton could somehow turn things around and get healthy (for at least most of 2025), then there is hope for Correa - unless of course there is something going on behind the scenes that we're not privy to.
