  1. Max, just make contact. Please...
  2. Soto and the Phillies are gift wrapping this one. Come on, Twins.
  3. Rocco loves his analytics. At some point, the #'s said Margot is a viable option as pinch hitter - but does he not use updated numbers as the season goes along? There's no excusing 0-25.
  4. Have to find a way to win this one. Two games against Milwaukee and last night against the Phillies. Winnable games that are lost because there's no execution. Someone needs to come through.
  5. Back on the ground. Didn't expect a 4-4 tie. Didn't expect Duran back on the mound!
  6. Okert tabbed as the starter. Presumably, Festa to follow.
  7. I'm traveling for work today. When I land, I'll check the carnage.
  8. Festa and Stewart back... Castillo (IF) DFA'ed and Henriquez back to St. Paul... Topa on a rehab stint. Will be curious to see who gets the boot if / when he's back.
  9. Duran is a problem. Not sure if he's hurt or in his own head. But he hasn't looked right all season. Stewart and Topa become that much more important.
  10. Duran taking two steps backwards this season is an unexpected development and might be the biggest reason they miss the post season.
  11. No one this team outside of Correa and Lewis have the clutch gene.
  12. An awful loss that will bite them in the ass at season's end. Jeffers, take note of what a professional at bat looks like.
  13. Clase and Duran are the difference between the Twins and Cleveland this season.
  14. Yeah, that's true. They may not have the luxury of setting the rotation before the post-season. But, if they're lucky enough to do that - Ober in game one isn't a bad idea.
  15. There's a lot what if's in your post, bean. Miranda hasn't been able to 'directly replace' Santana's plate appearances due to injuries to Lewis and Kirilloff. Under the current circumstances, Santana's absolutely needed. Ironically enough, to just presume that Miranda would be the direct replacement without considering other factors - that's looking at things in a vacuum.
  16. Hot take: Bailey Ober is the Twins' best pitcher and if there's a game one in the post-season, he should start it.
