    I believe it was in 1989 last game of the season - Chip Hale base running blunder cost the Twins a chance at a .500 season and I remember reading about it as a kid and how it was such an odd occurrence for a Tom Kelly led team. Last few years, it is totally the norm for this group.

    The base running blunders are infuriating. Different manager. Different coaches. Doesn't matter. Still running into outs. As for Ober, oofda! Not sure what they do with him. Morneau and Perkins were saying his velo is up in the bullpen but he can't carry it over into games. Never heard of such a thing. Isn't usually the opposite? If this really is something mental or mechanical, they have had enough time to figure it out.
