One rumor: We can only wait to see what happens. ----- "San Francisco is looking for a GM to replace Pete Putila and work under new president of baseball operations Buster Posey. For what it’s worth, the fact that Levine chose to remain underneath Falvey for so long – despite other opportunities – suggests he prioritizes his work environment over his status. Perhaps the Giants’ larger payroll will convince him to give the Bay Area a try."

Yep....and none of them are : "Running out of gas" Maybe Joe needs to put in a filling station in the clubhouse.

I've heard a frequent phrase used by a few players.... "Ran out of gas". Or "running on fumes" Where the Mighty Marlins running on fumes as they traveled to Minnesota to take 2 of 3? Every team plays 162 games, last time I checked. "Running out of gas" is just an excuse..

August 4th: After beating CWS for the 12 time) Correa said. “If everybody tries to get better throughout these last two months … it’s all in-house. I think we have the talent to win it all.” ( I thought they did too ... they had us all duped... even the FO. ) Guess everybody didn't try to get better.

Ditto! Haven't paid for a game since 2019. The trend will continue in 2025.

Joe says he doesn't judge on 6 crappy weeks. Falvey regime has been in place for what 8 years now? Guess he needs 6 months of crap in 2025. Which is when Rocco's contract expires. How convenient. It's just about the money.

    OR: "Serious disorganization"

I remember the 86 Twins. They had a good core to start with. Guys like Hrbek , Gagne, Gary Gaetti, Viola , Burt Blyleven, etc ...In the off-season, acquired Gladden, Juan B, Jeff Reardon. We know how the story ends. Question is. Do we have a front office that has a clue about what moves to make? An owner that will prevent any possibly of acquiring a game changing FA? That's what kills any hope for me.

Even the Umpire was trying to help the Twins out. Tragic # down to 1.

In his 12 year career Puckett averaged 148 games a year... slightly higher if you factor in he didn't join the team until May in his rookie season. Just trying to get some perspective here. I'm not about to break out the pom-poms for Buxton.

Bullpen is made up of 8 or 9 players. Twins can spend 48 million on two position players, but can't exceed 14 million on 9 ? That's a head scratcher.

Blewett won't blow it, but Tonkin can. If all else fails, bring in Thielbar.

You never answered the man's question.

Wow. What a performance. What will this FO do in the off season? Fire the equipment manager? ? ?

They are bigger fans of making wise banking decisions. If that comes at the expense of not having a solid left handed reliever in the bullpen....so be it..the balance line will win every time. To bad owning a MLB franchise is so profitable, or they aren't even in this business. Boycotting Twins games is our only option. It's the only language they understand.

"But if your direct competitor does more with less." CLE is doing more with less regarding budget, but the Dolan's are bigger tight wads than the Twins ownership....the Dolan's spent more money on their daughter's wedding and they're paying 12 players in Cleveland.

I'm actually thinking of becoming a Lynx fan just so I can witness a team from Minnesota win a championship in my lifetime.

Eric, you must be a great carpenter because you nailed it.

    You jinxed him.

Said this elsewhere. Look on the bright side. The Twins have the best Triple A team in the majors.

Look on the bright side. Twins have the best Triple A team in the majors right now.

Twins offense erupts tonight.... score as many runs in one game than the last three combined.

    Ober in a Uber...🤣

I noticed it the box score, Duran was credited with his 6th HOLD of the year. I'm sure his agent will point that out during contract negotiations.

Saw a video on ESPN..two guys talking American Central....one says: Twins have the best players, but they are never healthy so it will be KC or CLE. This is a national opinion! No home boys. I don't mind hearing fans vent about this issue.
