    It also doesn't help that he has such a flat swing. The pull power guys generally have some uppercut to their swing to put backspin and loft on the ball, Mauer has made his career (hell look at the quickswing) on staying very level and shooting lasers with solid contact instead of moon shots. I say bat him lead off or 2nd and hope the decreased plate vision and discipline are a result of trying to be more aggressive.

    Good to see him doing well in the pen, getting some confidence back. I guess the real question is after a continued streak of success does he get moved back to the rotation or to the major league pen. I think the best route would be to promote him as a reliever and let him get stretched out/ contend for a rotation spot next spring.

    ah that was probably my issue was just doing copy image location from google image search.

    Ya that part I know, when I do that and attempt to post is says image location not supported.
