  1. Vazquez with his Miranda like speed
  2. Yeah me neither. Does he believe that he, and only he, is the proper judge of the strike zone? What ever happened to fouling off/spoiling a close pitch just in case? There’s something broken there.
  3. The Julien caught looking thing is really getting old.
  4. Feels fortunate to be only down 2.
  5. The marketing is on par with the product on the field/in the dugout.
  6. And if I think that, and many here would agree, I wonder what the explanation of the FO would be?
  7. It’s a challenge to spot a true lead off type hitter on this roster, at least in the traditional sense. But I have seen enough to think that it isn’t Julien. Not at this point of his career.
  8. Julien strike out looking…….man that’s getting old
  9. In many sports markets fans, sports media and ownership would be requiring some serious adjustments after putrid performances like this. In Minnesota, not so much. Rocco is locked in.
  10. As a fan I find it really frustrating that the same team that put together that 12 game streak follows it up but looking mostly disinterested and possibly unprepared for these “statement “ series against playoff caliber teams.
  11. Super frustrated about the bogus ball/strike stuff, but this team just doesn’t have “it”. That little run against less-than-the best was fun, but just too many empty AB’s and questionable in-game decisions. Plus this team mostly never looks “sharp” in the field. There’s just always something, like there is with every other mediocre team. Middle of the pack team in a still weak division. It is what it is.
  12. Margot creeping out of my doghouse. I hope this is the start of a good run.
  13. Hey but at least we got Margot in the game. I dare him to do something meaningful.
  14. Fair enough, but I would better understand if it were a defensive replacement driven decision, or it wasn’t to replace a superior hitter who has been generally producing. I guess I’m still in the dark about what they were planning when they got him. He’s not a one for one replacement for the perennially injured Buxton the way MAT was. He doesn’t inspire any confidence out there, maybe he picks it up a little.
  15. I cannot come up with a scenario where I want Margot taking anyone’s AB.
