  1. Royce LOVES that low outside pitch on the black
  2. Great question for the post-game presser
  3. No leash. Just a choke collar!
  4. Buck is 2 for his last 23 with 7K's
  5. Can't nobody get Brooksie out
  6. Over 80 pitchers now. Gotta hope Kremer gets thru the 5th
  7. Linemen would have been perfect
  8. Caden Kendle homered for Wichita tonight, pushing his OPS to 1.112. Is he legit? Or the next McCusker?
  9. Prielipp's stuff is real good -- especially his spinny stuff. If he can gain some command, he'll start to live up to expectations. And yeah, the physical toll of a long season may also be showing.
  10. Anybody know why Rojas only went one inning in Columbus?
  11. Shelton either loves Prielipp or hates him
  12. I am NOT a Royce fan at all -- I would have been pleased if the Twins had DFA'ed him earlier this year. But it's beginning to look like he is finding his defensive mojo as a 1B and his hitting is even showing signs of life. He's a talented enough ballplayer to warrant ongoing patience -- at least into 2027 -- to see if he can finally turn the corner and be a serious asset. I'm still a little dubious, but I'm willing (hoping) to be 100% wrong about him. I wasn't a Clemens fan either, early on. But the guy just keeps contributing all over the place in multiple ways. He's never going to be a star, but he's the kind of super-utility Swiss army knife you see on many World Series teams...
  13. Honestly, it's hard NOT to be optimistic about Twins' pitching going into 2027. If Pablo and our other injured pitchers are healthy by spring, and a few of the younger guys mature as they could, our pitchers will keep us in a LOT of games next year. The bats and the defense that will be the decisive factors, IMHO.
  14. Exactly. This raises questions about Luke's future. He's an exciting athlete with promising skills. But if his arm is really a 40 tool (or 30?), his usefulness as a defender is doutbtful -- no matter how hard he works to improve. However, if there's hope that his arm can be rehabilitated to some degree, he might have a shot at 2B or 4th OF going forward.
  15. Will there be any more movement in the Twins' farm system this year? Cedar Rapids has 16 games left on the schedule. Maybe move Lackey up and get him 40 AB's in A+ ball this year? Likewise the Saints have 28 games remaining. Is there a case for moving Houston up there?
