It's true that it ultimately comes down to the players and how they're performing. Right now, even though we're still a couple games over .500, they're not doing much to win games. I see a .500, or below that, team. If we pitch well, and hit well, we can overcome anything the manager does. I've always been in the camp that believes Rocco is in way over his head. I don't care for him as a manager and I doubt he'll ever do anything to sway my opinion.

    ALL season form.

Pagan...walks the leadoff guy. What a shocker!

WOW! I have absolutely no recollection of Steinbach doing any games with Bremer. I must have blocked it out.

    We're getting dusted by a guy with a 7.81 ERA and a 1.70 WHIP. He's got 10 K's on us too.

Not off to a real good start tonight. C'mon Twins...get it in gear!

Was it the 66 WS? Orioles and Dodgers. I believe LA only scored like 2 runs the whole series.

I like Julien at the 1 spot. We need to get the bats going early and win these home games.

Haven't seen the actual lineup yet, but I have Buxton on a couple of my fantasy teams, and he's supposedly playing tonight. If it's correct, that's great news.

Agree. I'd play him against righties and lefties. He can hit them.

The PGA club pro, Mike Block just made an ace at #15! Just jarred it! What a story!!!

It was a lot. I should have done a stand! Never thought of it. We actually ate most of the produce, and my wife and mom in-law used to do some canning too. Also gave some to the neighbors. Too much work for this old fossil to do now. Good eatin though!

    YEAH CC!

    About 12-15 Budweiser's.

Nice! Those will be great. This year I put in six Early Girls, four Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes, and twelve Kohlrabi. I used to do 25-30 tomato plants and other asst veggies, but it's too much work for me now. I had to downsize to something I can take care of.

I would rather have gotten a bat from a player, but I had Dave Kingman give me the bird once at Shea Stadium back in the mid 70's!

    That was awesome!. Loved it!

The remote is getting a workout today...between the Twins game and the PGA tourney. It's a real struggle.

What, if anything, is Lopez doing differently the last 3-4 starts? I don't think his pitch mix is different, but his command isn't quite as good as the first several starts. His velo is the same, so that's not it. He just seems a little bit off. I'm maybe not picking up on whatever it is.

Remember all those great Oriole teams from the 60's and 70's? Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Boog Powell, Paul Blair, Mark Belanger, Dave Johnson, Elrod Hendricks...and the pitching staffs with Jim Palmer, Mike Cuellar, Dave McNally...I'm sure I'm forgetting a whole bunch of guys. Those were some great teams.

    You win.

Mind if I ask...what are you putting in?
  23. CRF
Most, but not all. There's a lot of very intelligent people on this site.

I would agree. Larnach has a good arm, but Gallo's is better. It could be just one of those "genius" moves by Rocco.
  25. CRF
    According to MLB, here's the lineup: 1 Gallo LF 2 Correa SS 3 Kirilloff 1B 4 Julien DH 5 Farmer, 3B 6 Larnach RF 7 Castro, CF 8 Solano 2B 9 Jeffers C Lopez - Pitching
