  1. Wrote an article on some landing spots for Dozier. Comments, as always, appreciated: https://t.co/4XW4WOt3yk
  2. Ervin Santana: http://coldomaha.com/2016/twins/2016-minnesota-twins-report-card-ervin-santana/
  3. Berardino said he heard fairly good reports on him back there.
  4. If anyone cares -- and it's OK that you probably don't -- I wrote my view up here: https://t.co/VFntSR6DRc
  5. Should be two. Used one this year.
  6. Ended up being not true -- Adam Brett Walker II, not John Ryan Murphy -- was claimed by Milwaukee.
  7. CORRECTION: ADAM BRETT WALKER claimed by Milwaukee.
  8. Miller was wrong, it's Adam Brett Walker II who was claimed by Milwaukee. Mods, please fix title.
  9. According to Phil Miller, John Ryan Murphy was waived and claimed by the Brewers.
  10. Kind of funny, but I noticed his mom unfollowed all Twins people earlier today. I tweeted that, and wouldn't you know it, 15 minutes later Berardino has the news of the outright.
  11. What? This is a stud in the making based on what Sickels posted.
  12. It's a fine blueprint, but I think Anderson signs for twice that much money.
  13. To be honest with you, I wouldn't mind if they targeted an extra outfielder in the deal. Trayce Thompson plus some kind of pitching or other prospect help would get me listening, I think.
  14. Like I said, he just hasn't been moved over. If the season were to start today, Plouffe would probably start at third and Sano at DH. This is much ado about nothing.
  15. He's on the recent updated depth chart behind Plouffe: http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/team/depth_chart/?c_id=min
  16. These are updated by Rhett Bollinger. Chances are, he just hasn't done an offseason update.
  17. Nick Hundley is more interesting than any of those guys, I think.
  18. Here's Randy Rosario
  19. It's a one-year deal and Plouffe is a bounce-back candidate. I'd tender him with the hopes that he can play roughly half the time and rebuild value. If not, cut him during the season. But I think he's good enough to give one more shot. I'd probably platoon him with Mauer at first and some playing time between third base and DH.
  20. Valencia also has much better offense and much worse defense on tape over the last year or so. I don't think they're really comparable at all. *Maybe* the return would be similar, but it's not because their career numbers are similar. Plouffe is also slated to make a lot more cash in arbitration.
  21. Not really. Valencia is regarded around the game as a difficult personality to the point where the A's were reportedly considering DFA'ing him around the trade deadline.
  22. Here's Taylor Rogers
  23. Bumping this since people are doing these more now than they were a few days ago.
  24. He's never been a good defensive outfielder, but it seems as though 2016 was at least somewhat of an outlier. I mean, I get it. But all I'm saying is that if Grossman isn't a fit as a bat to help manage the amount lefties eat up Rosario and even more specifically, Kepler, then no one is.
