  1. Pressly, Breslow and Duffey are all terrible. Bosher is inconsistent.
  2. I am sorry to say Pressly should be sent down for the rest of the season.
  3. I do NOT want to see Pressly pitch for the Twins anymore this season. Call up Busenitz and send him down please.
  4. I think Escobar is a good major league player. He can play multiple positions if the team needs. He is NOT UTILITY PLAYER BY DEFAULT. He should have consistent playing time at his most comfortable position. I think he is the most underrated and underappreciated player on this roster.
  5. I would like to see Polanco sent down to AAA instead of Granite after the break. Polanco has been worse than Buxton offensively lately. His avg is slightly better than Buxton with little power. He has been consistently bad defensively. Granite deserves to play more games at major league level.
  6. I would like to see Polanco sent down to AAA instead of Granite after the break. Polanco has been worse than Buxton offensively lately. His avg is slightly better than Buxton with little power. He has been consistently bad defensively. Granite deserves to play more games at major league level.
  7. This is the starting lineup I would like to see next season. 1. Mauer (1B) 2. Grossman (DH) 3. Sano (3B) 4. Kepler (RF) 5. Rosario (LF) 6. Escobar (2B) 7. Gordon (SS) 8. Garver © 9. Buxton (CF) Bench: Granite Castro Vargas Polanco
  8. Well what the Twins did to the Orioles was similar to what the Angels did to the Twins the other night, Santana lost that game because of that mental lapse from his teammates and little run support from his teammates
  9. Orioles has 11 pitchers and 14 hitters. Twins has 13 pitchers and 12 hitters. Twins might as well cut Pressly and Belisle (two of worst relievers this year) and bring up Granite and any young talented reliever.
  10. 285 AB Sano has 113 strikeouts before today's game. He just collected another strikeout at his first AB today. And he just made a costly error which led to an unearned run. Lately Sano is playing like anything but an all-star. He has been an easy out lately just like Polanco.
  11. Grossman is an on-base machine, I would like to see him and Mauer hit in front of Sano & Vargas especially if Dozier is traded.
  12. Escobar is NOT below average defensive shortstop, he is rather good defensively at this position. If Polanco cannot hit, Escobar would be an excellent candidate to replace Dozier if he's traded. I would like to see Escobar play everyday for the Twins. Escobar could also be in Twins long term plans, why not? He is also a team player and well-liked in the club house. He could provide leadership like Dozier.
  13. I certainly would not want Duffey to be the 9th inning guy
  14. Cubs is not Twins. Cubs is a big market team and its owner is willing to spend to win. Drafting best possible pitchers and developing might be the best way for our Twins to field a contending team. Good pitching usually beats good hitting right?
  15. I don't know how many talented young players left to be drafted by the Twins in order to make this draft get a passing grade.
  16. Pitching should be the first priority. I understand the need to lure talents for the latter picks. In this case, Gore should be the one they drafted #1.
  17. While it may not be cheapness, it is certainly a failed draft.
  18. I am not saying the current draft would have any impact this season. I just want to make it clear the Twins need pitching, pitching and more pitching. The reason why this team got blown out so many times this season is because of no quality pitching. I just don't want history repeats itself in the future. I would like them to draft as many good pitching arms as possible.
  19. How high is Lewis' ceiling if his arm is weak? Buxton still cannot hit major league pitching. Lewis might be worse than Buxton. I really don't feel good about this pick. This team needs pitching, pitching and more pitching. It seems like this team got blown out in almost half of the losses this season.
  20. I think McKay wanted to cry because he lost his gamble.
  21. Quote: ”Royce Lewis is immensely athletic, a trait the Twins have had tremendous success with developing. That reminds me of BUXTON. Buxton at least has a better arm.
  22. Royce Lewis sounds like Buxton with a weak arm.
