    Per fangraphs, Yankees were 24% to win before the ARod homer, and 79% to win after. Seems like a fairly big moment.

    The bases loaded seventh inning spot with ARod up is pretty much the definition of a high leverage spot. Seems like a spot for the best pitcher you've got if you want to win the game.

    A year ago TD was aghast that Meyer was never called up for a start. Can a prospect's star dim that much in a year? We also know that it frequently takes a while for pitchers to put it together. But from the sounds of it, Meyer is essentially written out of plans for the future in terms of starting. I personally hope to see him doing well in the Twins rotation. Maybe not in September, maybe not in April, but in 2016, and certainly by 2017.
