    Jonathan Rodriguez has had a nice first year in the Twins system. He's too old to be a prospect, but he provides some quality organizational depth.

    Very impressed with Mejia again. His slider was really on, and he hit 97 in the 6th inning. He's trending upward.

    I was also a little surprised at first that Michael Brantley made the team, even though the AL doesn't have a lot of great outfielders to choose from. I would've given the spot to Khris Davis instead.

    Very surprised Betances made the team over Chris Devenski. Betances has walked 21 guys in 26 innings, has a much worse ERA, and has pitched about half the innings of Devenski.

    Just a very sloppy series. 2 errors by Polanco, Kepler and Rosario both missed catches near the wall that should have been made, Sano continuing his bad slide at the plate, etc.

    I'm looking forward to Felix Jorge's start on Saturday. It should be interesting to see how his high contact minor league approach is able to translate to the MLB.

    And it was a classic Stewart start, very few strikeouts, but still good results.

    Nick Gordon has been named on the roster for the Futures game. I didn't see any other Twins listed unfortunately.

    Really impressed with Mejia. He was at about 89-91 in the first few innings, but was throwing 93-94 in the 5th and 6th innings. He was also able to throw a strike when he needed to for the most part in this one.

    I doubt it. Boshers has gotten into close games recently, and he's been really good.

    Rain, walks, errors. Just a sloppy game. I agree with Jimbo on Hildenberger. He looks to be here to stay.

    It probably would if he was on base. Still 6th in the AL in steals while hitting .199.

    27 is the average. Grossman on up are above average, and Sano on down are slightly below average.

    Rosario has a .962 OPS over the last 28 days. I think he deserves a lot more time.

    I still say Buxton is faster than Hamilton. Look at the leaderboard for the previous 2 seasons.

    After watching video of his 15 K game, I did too, but I don't know what happened to that curveball once he got called up.

    Eddie Rosario played great in the outfield again, but he followed up one of his best career days at the plate with one of his worst, 0-3 with 3 strikeouts on 9 pitches. It's tough against Sale, but still.

    And they've still got a couple of top 50 prospects left even after the 3 big trades they've made in recent years.

    Three big game management mistakes by Molitor in this one. So disappointing. Another really well pitched game by Berrios though.

    Rochester's opponent, Lehigh Valley, has recent top 10 prospect JP Crawford at SS. He's hitting .205 in 62 games at AAA, yikes.

    This was a great game to win. It was half they stole it and half the Indians gave it to them in the 1st inning. Wasting an excellent start by Kluber sure is a great feeling.

    If they want to keep all of their free agents for one more run, that's fine with me. They'll be in a tough spot after this year either way, but I'd rather see them make one more run and not get any prospects to bolster their system.

    Does it really matter though? His hitting would have to be really good to justify giving him any starts in the OF, assuming he's well below average out there.

    Agreed. Wade really only had one dominant month, with an .888 OPS in May. April and June have been underwhelming, though he still took a lot of walks those months.
