    I don't usually agree with Souhan, however; 1. Get Santana to ss. That's where he's going to end up, and he and Dozier will be playing together for a long time. Get them together now, not spring. 2. A no brainer, trade Plouffe. I disagree with playing him in left though. Why expose another weakness he has when there's no reason to. Take what we can get in a trade and be done with him. Amen.

    Mauer really needed to move 'em over there. Which Gibson will show up tonight. And, of course there was one guy I didn't want to hit the 10,000th, so I turned the game off when he came up to bat. And that's the last i want to hear and read about it.

    I saw Thorpe pitch several times in EST, Stewart also. No idea how many innings, and I think they were on a pitch count then, so that info must be available.

    That was my first thought last night as again with men on he just looked like a different pitcher. There's a problem from the stretch for sure.

    It's not easy to catch, but the kid in the commercial is wearing a White Bear Lake t-shirt! My hometown. Edit: That was supposed to contain the quote of Chief's about the McDonalds commercial.

    I figured with all the scoring we'd done lately we were due for some shutouts. Well one run has made the last couple of games exciting for 7 innings. But I just don't have the feeling we're about to get back to scoring in bunches yet. How about winning a low score game tonight!

    I'm certainly not a Plouffe fan, but will admit his defense has improved some. It couldn't have gotten much worse. I still cringe when he steps into the box, despite his unusual number of doubles. But someone in the FO likes him a ton more than me, so he'll be manning 3rd base til someone else can, all his brain farts aside. I wouldn't even consider him for the outfield. He's to slow and mentally it'd take way to long for him to adjust to the change. I'd move him as soon as there's a replacement. We could easily get a better outfield option for him.

    Nice, neat win today. We got something out of the series, and Hughes continues to roll.

    Gibson's proving me wrong, I'd better back track in a hurry. We're still up though.

    Santana and Arcia are really treats. Gibson should roll now, as he excels with a lead! Nice start.

    Two innings yesterday and the game was over as far as I was concerned, and I went golfing. Last year there were many, many more games that were over quick and I tuned into something else. At least this year I've stuck to the end a lot more than last year and to me that's improvement, at least entertainment wise. And this year when Hughes or Gibson is starting I've got the feeling we've got a good chance to win a game. Can't say that about any pitcher last year. And the young guys have my attention.
