  1. Sign Astudillo to show how position players are supposed to pitch.
  2. Tigers , eleven hits and eight runs, Twins five hits ; that means the score should be 8-3, or some thing like that.
  3. Matthews is still pitching, why? Lewis at second, hmm, well, at this point, does not matter.
  4. Ah, mein Deutscher Bruder, -- Deutschland , Deutschland Uber alles....
  5. AH, mein Deutscher Bruder -- Deutschland, Deutschland uber alles....
  6. Actually I have never bought a jersey for any player in any sport, but Harmon would have been the one if I did.
  7. Yeah but you guys are all wearing your Julien jerseys.
  8. AHHH - Culpepper, the new Lewis. Runs and fields like Willie Mays Hayes.
  9. Just like Wallner; LOL! Mendez Of course he will over power Major League pitching just like Lewis.☢️
  10. We should have an idea by the All Star break as to whether or not he has the Julien curse at second base.
  11. Trade him to replace him with gents whose gloves are worse than Larnach's; not a good idea.
  12. He signed a contract, which is what what was posted by me and others; get over it..
  13. Kepler, eligible to return June 25, inks 1-year deal with D-backs
  14. Had to quit watching but it seems I did not miss much. Buxton got his early home run then followed it up with 4 strike out; Lewis kinda sorta went 2 for 4 so complaining Buxton was not playing seems rather a waste of time. I hope Gray is not trying to emulate Buxton.
  15. Having had Lurch in Right Field, why would I be kiddling? Now how much he signed for is a big deal.
  16. All the - bring the rookies up - is not based on how good or not good players are, here. It is based - I want this guy, not that guy. I thought Keaschall might be the best rookie since Buxton; I now have rethought that but can see how some here get ideas in their heads , without any thing but their opinion to go by. He does not have Julien's iron glove and so far he is a 2nd base version of Lee at Short Stop; not terrible but still lacking the range and quickness such spot require.. I will admit I had zero fond views of Wallner and Julien from the get go as they had iron gloves from the get go; Lewis never showed he was more than an average at best rookie, BUT, he had the misfortune of hitting a cluster of bases loaded home runs before the veteran pitchers figured out his style and shut him down. Larnach has shown this year he can and probably should be a long term player for the Twins ( he was not a favorite of mine either) but he has listened , adapted and is now doing well, but , so many here want him gone so their favorite rooky can play. I read Baseball Reference stats. for defense also; and no one at this point looks like they will better, for a team where defense has been between poor and just plain bad far too long. Their offense numbers are based on AAA pitching which unless they are facing a rehab veteran, AAA are not what they were 20 years ago for ability, while many on defense by numbers are less than what the Twins have.
  17. You quoted Richie but at that, the comparisons are really void, as different team at a different time, and a different manager & coaches.
