  1. Baseball Ref. says he is a poor defender, so it depends on what site one wants believe.
  2. Julien, same old, same old. His glove is still made out of iron, .941 fielding percentage at 2nd. Minor league is where players learn, whether or not they are good enough for MLB. An iron glove should never be allowed unless they hit 40 home runs a year. Right now Keaschall has made his own problems, maybe he can fix them, or like Julien, maybe not, but if they hang around, they get fixed in AAA.
  3. How did that work out for Julien, Kiersey Jr.....
  4. Rodriguez probably will be brought over, to watch Major League pitching increase his K rate to Wallner's or Gallo's level. If he had Gallo's glove that would be tolerable but he has Wallner's glove.
  5. Jenkins is a long, long way from being a Triple success much less coming up to the Biggs. Rodriguez will probably come up some time much later this year, to see if his glove is good enough, and his K rate does not turn him into another Wallner. All the bring the kids up hype that saturates this site, is like a scratched record whose wonder kids play as well as a scratched record. Eventually, hopefully Jenkins is the real deal, as he has a very good glove, but all the rest seem to be the same old, same old , not better and some worse.
  6. He had a good bat and a barely adequate glove; now his bat is just plain bad and his glove is heading towards Julien's world. The announcer said yesterday, he changed some things in Spring Training - change them back.
  7. You made some good points but Rodriguez for Wallner could easily be, Rodriguez for another Wallner when he faces Big League pitching and has high K rate in the minors.
  8. Minnesota batters had 5 Ks, the Reds had 14 Ks, and Minnesota still lost. That says a lot.
  9. From what the announcers said, Spring Training seems to have done Keaschall more harm than good.
  10. I do hope they keep Ober in as long as possible.
  11. The ump gave that one to the Twins.
  12. Lee trying to steal home, hmm, this is not supposed to be a clown show.
  13. You may call what ever you wish.
  14. Yeah, it is. Which says a lot about how bad the AAA players are.
  15. That was some thing Outman can not afford to do!
  16. Good start with Buxton, now time for Larnach to bring him home.
  17. Outman is here for his glove, none of the rookie fielders have glove work any better than Wallner.
  18. Poor defense has lost several games, that would make no sense.
  19. Well Wallner got to add to his K total.
  20. That will move the hole in the defense from SS to Third base.
  21. Time for Lee to get bench time for a longer stretch.
