People do not pay 19 bucks for a cheap ticket, to go watch batting practice which is what this would be.
  2. RpR
To 98.6 percent of the fans, winning is every thing, or they would not go.

Simmons is a top of the line fielder, the announcers today said so repeatedly; Gordon is rookie who may become competent as an infielder but will never be as good as Simmons, ever. AAA is for learning , big league is not for subjecting ticket buying fans to maybe-maybe not, regardless of team record.
  4. RpR
He demonstrated he has a lot to learn in AAA.
  5. RpR
And I meant what I said, he is now where he should be.
  6. RpR
    He is already.
  7. RpR
Because if fans want to watch the Saints, they will go to Saints games, not pay big league prices to watch rookies prove they are still rookies.
  8. RpR
    Yep!
  9. RpR
Astudillo is batting .314 since his return from the Minors. If Sano ever swung as hard for one of his homers as Astudillo did, it would probably leave the stadium, any stadium.
  10. RpR
Winnah, winnah, Sano gets a chicken dinnah. Actually I won a free chicken dinner at the Turtle Lake casino once, darn good too.
  11. RpR
Back in the sixties the Twins had several rookies who were excelling but were ruined by bean-balls.
  12. RpR
He is over due, for some reason.
  13. RpR
    ASTUDILLO!
  14. RpR
Why I included this game and am going by Baseball Ref.
  15. RpR
Why do so many batters let pitch down the middle of the pipe of first pitch go by, including some of really good batters? Astudillo --18 rbi in 54 games Arraez -- 27 rbi in 78 games. That is why he is still here whether you hate him or not.
  16. RpR
    CONTINUALLY!
  17. RpR
    Snapping Turtle bites again.
  18. RpR
Because he has made fielding plays that none of the others would even attempt, maybe Arraez and he would throw the ball into right field. In his worst year, Simmons made 14 errors at shortstop, in 2019 Polanco made 22 errors at shortstop
  19. RpR
That applies to baseball but not many other pro-sports, especially football.
  20. RpR
His defense numbers at Baseball Ref. say you are wrong; you are blaming him for a team that is under performing as whole and while too many think the Minor League Rookies are some sort of miracle cure.
  21. RpR
Let us hope he just gets better and better.?
  22. RpR
Simmons bat has gone South but then so has most of the entire team; lose Simmons and his fielding ability will make a bad team look worse.
  23. RpR
    Send Jeffers out with them.
  24. RpR
Is there a record for the most sub-200 batters on a team ever?
  25. RpR
