  1. He is good for about 3 innings, put him in the relief squad, he is NO WORSE than any one there.
  2. He could be a Ricky Henderson type, who had 66 stolen bases at age 39 and while not being a bomba home run hitter still had 14 home runs the same year, plus even at age 42 he had 25 stolen bases and 42 rbi.
  3. Happ did not lose this game , the seven runs given up after he left did, so why the whining about Happ? Putting in a relief pitcher with an ERA of 10 after him, is what was moronic.
  4. Of the sports I once truly enjoyed baseball is the only I still pay attention to , so to me the Twins winning or losing means a lot. Back in 2011 when the Pavano won the last game to stop from losing 100 games I was as happy as the fans in the stands that cheered LOUDLY, after the win. I find the current Twins, extremely annoying but still await each ball game as I LIKE baseball. (what bothers me most is every manager since after Tom Kelly, is to big of a moron to direct the Twins to defeat the Yankees {Cruz's hopping on the baseline like a little kid when he hit the winning home run earlier this year is forever locked in my memory}) If I want to see Minor League Baseball, I will go see the Saints (It bothers me to this day I never went to see them play when Strawberry was on the team.)
  5. These so called baseball experts, at least nowadays, are about as accurate to the future dealings of a team, before the action as the young lady below was.
  6. Yah, sure, lose by even worse margins by giving up a good defense for hitless, wonders with high school fielding talent. Just what paying customers want, which to the Polads is what counts. Better yet, let the Saints play at Target Field and the Twins in the Saints stadium, as the teams would differ little.
  7. When he is not giving up earned runs, or allowing runners he inherited to score he looks very good, but it seems that does not happen too often.
  8. Good, hmmm, by what crystal ball can you say that they would be good with a doubt; wasn't Burrows one those "good" prospects at one time. I do not want to watch the Twins put minor league team out there because maybe, just maybe, some are good, or they thought they were.
  9. The Twins did this against New York four or five years ago , only in that one they had the lead and both side homered. That was the game that finalized the end of Trevor May with Minn.
  10. I am sure Polanco would agree.
  11. Time for Willy Mays Hays Gordon to steal third.
  12. I am watching this on ESPN Gamecast and with this umpire you do not have to be close to the strike zone to get a strike.
  13. I know, Larnach is so much better.?
  14. I see umpire today is seeing double.
  15. Time for Rooker to show he belongs in the Big Show, Larnach has a hit today.
  16. Were you around for the BLAH seventies, I was. They had TV adds hyping the new rookie Twins while for a full decade they had a hard time exceeding .500. I am assuming many of the posters have no idea how crappy that can be for a fan.
  17. Too many posters see the real season through the rose tinted glasses of Fantasy Baseball or really more like Fantasy Island. I am with you.?
  18. Actually the ONLY reason; he is a Sano style easy out without the absolute power that Sano pops out when it is least expected, plus he is slow afoot and has a weak arm.
  19. Because without him we would have lost in the 9th, bunky.
  20. Time for Baldelli to rationalize the loss again.
  21. No losing after a 6 to zip lead, is still the worst.
  22. Dick head TV announcer just poo-pooed Astudillo's home run but without it, the Twins would have lost in 9. Garver could not have won the game.
  23. Still had a man on second with only 1 out, so it is not all Sano's fault, he just makes it easy to ignore what came after.
  24. Keep Alcala and use him only in the 10th to pick of runners.
