  1. Twins too often fall into one of two categories: They score early and lose late, or, they score late but not enough to win.?
  2. Last time I watched the Gophers, and it has been a long time, they led Michigan 28-0 and still lost the game.
  3. It appears the bloom is off Varland.
  4. Miranda seems to frequently hit doubles or double plays.
  5. Jeffers also struck out with the bases loaded in the Ninth, no outs.
  6. I watched the end of that game on MilB's version of Gamecast; bases loaded , all he had to do was hit a fly ball or a grounder any where to right and game over but it was zip, zip, zip.
  7. For what it is worth Jeffers hit a three run home run a bit back to tie the game at 5-5 against LOU.
  8. Gordon has very few errors but when he makes one it seems like he is totally lost.
  9. The Twins lost due to errors, their worst failure for years now.
  10. You like Gordon at Second?
  11. One series where Arraez is not needed for his bat but his ability at Second Base.
  12. It seems to be the habitual cooling off of the bats again.
  13. On Gamecast , umpire seems to have a very wide strike zone.
  14. Time for Gary to hit a dinger. Or not.
  15. Prediction, Cave and Contreras both homer and Miranda steals second base. ODD, Sanchez who often hits home runs 470 plus feet, has become the hitter of singles.
  16. NO Contreras, that long ball the other night from Billy surprised me. Old poker face Kwan, seems to do well against the Twins on average.
  17. As much as you guy hate B. Hamilton, he is still a better fielder than Contreras, and if Hamilton had 25 at bats like contreras, would probably be just as good; put Cave in Right and Hamilton in Left. I did dig deep and Contreras, only had 4 errors in the Minors and they were all in Left Field so that is probably why he is in Right Field. IF he hits the ball , he does have some pop.
  18. 22 errors in 3 Minor League years; the much loathed B. Hamilton has 10 errors in ten Major League years. Twins cannot afford to ply drop-catch-drop-catch-drop-catch.... Jake Cave seems to be in a slump again but he is good with a glove and has a strong arm.
  19. B. Hamilton is a VERY good outfielder and the last time he held a bat, came very close to a dinger.
  20. OF course they have a chance, will they, depends on bats coming alive as much as pitching as last few games showed.
  21. There is no such thing as luck, one makes one's own fortune and if the Twins do well, luck has squat to do with it.
  22. Maybe the Twins coaching staff is the problem?
  23. He is not ready for prime time while the Twins cannot afford to baby sit him while they still have a chance.
